A Highschool Fairytale?

Chapter 3

After school on the next day Anna was sitting outside on a bench."Where in the world is he?" 

"Hey Anna banana." a sweet and smooth voice said from behind her. "Guess who" he said covering her eyes.

"Well the only people that call me Anna banana are my parents and Paul. So I'm going to say its Paul."

"Aw man I made it obvious." He said sitting next to her.

"Maybe you won't next time."

"Yeah..... Wait aren't you supposed to be on a date right now?"

"Yeah but I haven't seen Connor since school ended."

"I'd hate to break it to you, but school ended two hours ago. Don't you think you should leave?" He asked with a concerned look on his face.

"But he said that he'd be here"

"Then he should have been here, plus his car isn't even in the parking lot anymore."

Anna sighed " I got stood up didn't I?" She said sadly.

"Hey, don't be sad, you still have me."
He said pulling her into a gentle hug.

"Thank you Paul. You're always there for me when I need you."

He smiled down at her. "And I always will be."

She smiled back, " Well I guess we should head home."

"Actually would you like to grab some ice cream?"

"Sure" Anna said standing up and walking to Paul's red mustang."I wish I had a car."

"I have to wash it everyday, and pay a car note. It's anything but fun." He said opening the door for her. Once she got in he closed the door and went to the other side and got in. "Plus if you had your own car I wouldn't be able to drive you home in the afternoons."

"Yeah you wouldn't have to anymore. You could do whatever you want instead of being my chauffeur."

" Who said that I would want to do anything different?" He asked starting to drive.

"Well I'm just saying." She said blushing a little.

"Anyways, what flavor ice cream do you want?" 

"Hmm... Oh krazy cookie dough"

"Okay. Three scoops?"

"Yup"

"Alright"
