Professor Black

First Lesson

Just before we would have arrived at Hogwarts Narcissa woke me up. I sit up. My head feels kinda fuzzy.

Narcissa snapped and I was dressed in my robes.

"Now get going. We will see us tomorrow."

"Good night professor." I leave the compartment and than the train.

"Good night Lily."

All 2nd to 7th years took the carriages to the castle. The first years took the boats over the lake with Hagrit. I went straight to my dorm once I'm in the castle. Pansy stopped by.

"Are you coming Lily?"

"I can't, I can barely walk straight. Plus my head is a little fuzzy."

"Oh, I'll excuse you if someone asks."

"Thanks Pansy."

"No problem, bye."

"Bye."

Pansy leaves. I lay down and wait. I waited until everyone was in their dorm and nearly asleep.

I used that chance to go to the bathroom. I go to the Prefects bathroom.

I look into the mirror and all that, what my father said came back to my mind. I start to cry.

"No one will ever like you. You are a disgrace to the family. I told your mother to take an abortion instead of having you. You eat all day long. Why don't you feel bad? Feel bad for steeling the food others need more. You are fat! Look at you. That isn't beautiful."

I go through my pockets and find a blade. The words my father said played in my head repeatedly. While this is happening I cut my wrist with every insult he tells me the cuts get deeper and deeper. Once I nearly pass out I clean my arms and go back to my dorm.

"Out of bed on the first night?"

I froze, I've been caught. I turn around and say, "I'm sorry Professor, I needed to uhm, change something." I looked at the floor.

The person was coming closer. "Your lady's problem, right?"

I looked up and nodded. "Okay, I'll let that slide. Now get back to bed Lily." I smiled. "Yes Professor." I went back to bed.

Narcissa's pov:

I was checking the halls when I spot a student out of bed.

"Out of bed on the first night?" I asked and walked closer.

She turns around and says, "I'm sorry Professor, I needed to uhm, change something." She looked at the floor.

I came closer. "Your lady's problem, right?"

She looked up and nodded. "Okay, I'll let that slide. Now get back to bed Lily." I smiled. "Yes Professor." She went back to bed.

I watched as the door to a room close and then went to bed myself. I had classes tomorrow and didn't want to be late.

I fell asleep thinking about what Lily told me. I kinda didn't believe her. She must have been lying. I will ask her about it tomorrow.

Lily's pov:

I was caught by Professor Black. Luckily she let me go.

So I went to my dorm and fell asleep. My alarm went off at 6:30 the next morning. I got up and checked that nobody was up. When I was sure no one was up that early I made my way to the Prefects bathroom again. I didn't realise but I lost a blade. I went into the bathroom and locked its door.
