"and, touching hers,
make blessed my rude hand."
"Did my heart love till now?"
"Forswear it, sight!"
"For I never saw true beauty
till this night."
Closing the all too well known book "Romeo and Juliet" The woman set the book on her desk looking over at her students, Of course being 3rd graders the children were uninterested and stared blankly up at their teacher with a clear boredom.
"And that is why Romeo and Juliet is the most romantic and tragic love story of all time.
Any questions?" The enthusiastic teacher asked, trying to get the young children as interested as she was about the tragic love story. one young girl raised her hand up causing the teacher to smile and call on the girl.
"Yeah. Mindy?" Asked the teacher as she called on said girl she lowered her hand and pointed towards the large reptile aquarium by the window where a large white boa laid lazily in the sunlight.
"Can we go feed the snake now?" The small girl asked, causing all the other young students to cheer.
"Okay. And then it's reading time, okay?" The teacher moved to help the children feed the poor reptile who seemed to just want to sleep in the sun.
{Time skip to after The class ended}
"Faster! Faster! Life's a race." The young ambitious woman called out to her friend who was lagging behind her as they walked the halls of the school after hours.
"So, how'd they like Romeo and Juliet?" The Short latino female asked her rushing friend as they walked along.

"Well, turns out Shakespeare is no match for a pet snake." The H/c (Hair color) Female groaned slightly even though she should have guessed that would have been the outcome, I mean they were just kids after all.
"I appreciate you trying to expand their young minds, but unless there's a very hungry caterpillar in the story, you're pretty much screwed." The latino said jokingly to which she earned a quick teasing glare from her best friend.
"The kids wanted to know about my vacation, and I couldn't talk about Verona without mentioning Romeo and Juliet." Y/n Clarified her reason for having the sudden class change today.
"Ha. You couldn't order a pizza without mentioning Romeo and Juliet." Y/n's short friend elbowed her playfully.
"What can I say? I'm a fan." The young woman shrugged with a smirk directed at her friend.
"Yeah, like Kathy Bates in Misery was a fan." Lola chuckled at her own joke while Y/n just gave a sarcastic 'Haha'.
"Speaking of the trip... ...I have a... small favor to ask you." The (Y/H) (Your height) Woman turns to her friend with a bit of a pleading look in her eyes.
"I am not taking Kaburamaru." Lola deadpans looking a bit more sturn now then before crossing her arms.
"Oh, I don't need you to take her." Y/n smiled
"Good. 'Cause I don't do snakes." Lola shook her head, never really liking snakes since she was little. Always been just a natural instinct of hers, she guessed.
"I just need you to feed her." Y/n explained trying to make it seem like just a simple task, which to her it was.
"Feed her?" Lola asked with a raised eyebrow clearly not interested still in even being near the snake.
"Yeah." Y/n said still keeping a smile to convince her friend it was fine.
"Feed her what?" Lola questioned, skeptical towards her grinning friend.
"A mouse." The H/C woman now straining her smile definitely seemed more desperate for her friend to say yes.
"Ugh, pass." Lola replied with a disgusted look on her face as she scrunched up her nose and shook her head again just picturing the mouse.
"It's frozen." Y/n said in a sing-songy tone as she held out her hand in a begging manner.
"How is that better?" Lola asked snarkily, looking at her begging friend rolling her eyes with a sigh knowing she really didn't want to do this, but this was for Y/n..
"Please. Please, it's just for a week." Y/n was now fully begging her friend to take care of her beloved snake.
"I don't know.." Lola is still trying to not have the responsibility of the creepy slimy thing having not wanted to even be in the same room as it.
"Yeah, and then, y'know..." The pleasing woman said, waving her hand in the air slightly as if trying to get a point across.
"Maybe take her, y'know, because she gets kinda depressed..." Y/n said trying her best to fake a sad tone of voice so her friend would feel more convinced to take the snake instead of her trying to find a snake sitter if one of those even existed.
"Okay, okay, okay. Fine, fine, fine." Lola sighed, finally giving up on trying to get out of taking care of the scaly reptile.
"But you owe me." The short latino said, pointing an accusing finger towards her friend who raised her hands up as if in a mock surrender and nodded quickly.
"Mani-pedis on me." Y/n said quickly knowing that would be enough to please the short rabbit girl.
"The Korean place?" Lola still pointed at the woman in front of her with a raised eyebrow.
"Done." Y/n nodded again now with a genuine smile, now she knew Kaburamaru would be in good hands no matter how reluctant her friend was y/n knew she could trust Lola.
"Okay. I'm only saying yes because you're finally going to Verona. You've been planning this trip for years." Lola said as if trying to say this was a one time thing even though she had taken care of Y/n's snake in the past while she was gone.
"I'm so glad I waited. Now I have somebody to share it with." Y/n sighed happily already imagining the sights of Verona with her boyfriend, it was going to be so romantic..
"I wouldn't be surprised if James popped the question while you're there." Lola said wiggling her eyebrows trying to get the message across to the young H/C woman
"You really think so?" Y/n exclaimed almost to happily, which made Lola falter slightly.
"Yeah. He knows how much this trip means to you. What better place to get engaged than the City of Love?" Lola answered with a smile for her friend, her sensitive ears still trying to recover from Y/n's excitement from before.
"He has been acting kinda strange lately." Y/n said in a questioning manner now thinking about everything James had been up to lately.
"It's like Shakespeare said, "If thou dost desire, thou must put thine ring upon it." Lola said trying to impersonate a fancy voice While waving her arm up in the air just being goofy in general causing Y/n to chuckle slightly shaking her head.
"No, I... I think that's Beyoncé." Y/n Laughed at her friends face as she stopped waving her hand about and turned to her friend with a smile before jokingly saying.
"Fiancée."
