A New Ally!

Monday was the day that was particularly disliked by many of Hopes Peaks students. Coming into Hopes Peak to work wasn't really favored over hanging out with friends. However, for Gundham, Monday's weren't all that bad. On Monday's he'd get to spend time with his animals, on Monday's, he'd get to speak with his peers and hang out with his hellish beasts. After a quick conversation with the ultimate veterinarian, he began to make his way towards class, meeting up with Sonia on the way.

"A pleasant morning to you Dark lady, how was your weekend?" Gundham asked upon approaching her. Sonia was busy conversing with other students, so she quickly wrapped up the conversation and turned to face Gundham. "Goodness Gundham! You should wait until I finish talking, you startled me!" Sonia giggled behind her hand and smiled. "I am doing well! My weekend was full of adventure and work!"

They began to walk towards the classroom. This was the second week of them dating. And truthfully, Gundham was just happy to have someone to speak with. He could care less of they were dating or just friends, but the status of having a girlfriend did make him feel less lonely. Did he love her? He definitely did. But Gundham had no idea if his affections were platonic or romantic. A small bit of him regretted accepting her confession since he truly didn't even understand his feelings. And by how awkward their relationship was, he could assume she felt the same.

When they arrived at the classroom, they noticed as usual, there was only a few other people inside. That being Mikan, Kazuichi, Akane, and Peko. Gundham stepped in and glanced at Kazuichi and Mikan. Did the universe bring Kazuichi to him all the time to make a point or something? It was as if everywhere he went the mechanic would be there somehow. Fuyuhikos words floated back to his mind and he decided to not provoke Kazuichi at all today. Instead, he and Sonia watched as Mikan bandaged Kazuichis head while crying and sputtering out apologies.
"I'm sorrrry! I'm s-such a kl-klutz!" Mikan wailed as she secured the bandage and then collapsed on top of Kazuichis desk sobbing. Immediately Kazuichi stood up and waved his hands in front of her, attempting to calm her down. "N-No Mikan! Your good girlie! Please get up i'm getting weird stares!" Kazuichi pleaded.

Immediately, Sonia sped walked up to them, Gundham following closely behind. Seeing Sonia approach, Kazuichi backed up a little and allowed the princess to help Mikan up. When he noticed Gundham was there as well, his brows furrowed and an annoyed look grew on his face. Gundham hesitated before simply nodding towards Kazuichi and waving, prompting the other boy to blush a bit before glancing away with a confused look.
"Kazuichi what have you done!? Why is Tsumiki so distraught?" Sonia snapped the two boys back into reality. Kazuichi gasped, "What have I done!? I ain't do nothin!" he immediately placed his hands over his mouth and apologized for yelling. Sonia shook her head. "I am sorry but that is what it looked like! Please do inform me of what happened Tsumiki!" Sonia hugged the poor nurse who melted into her embrace.
"I-I was going to visit K-Kazuichi..and t-then I-..." Mikan began to tear up again.
"It's no big deal Mikan! She was visiting me and slipped on one of my screwdrivers, slipped across the floor and hit me.." Kazuichi then pointed to his bandage. "I crashed into my latest project..it's destroyed now." He sighed disappointedly.

"WAHHH! Im sorry! f-forgive me! F-forgive me p-please!"

"Mikan stop crying! I said it's fine! Nothing I can't fix so, please!"

Gundham and Sonia stepped aside and watched as the mechanic attempted to comfort his friend. Gundham felt a bit worried seeing the mechanic so hurt and genuinely worried. He looked around to see more students piling in, staring at Mikan and Kazuichi and wondering what the hell was going on. He noticed Fuyuhiko especially, giving Kazuichi the weirdest stare. Immediately his words came back to him. Maybe this was a good time? He could show some kindness to the other boy in hopes of approaching his good side.
