It's been a few weeks since Gundham had officially became single.
He had found comfort in hanging out with Kazuichi and the others, and could even call them his friends as well. He and Sonia had gone back to their previous friendship but the awkward tension still lingered, so to his disappointment, they've drifted a bit and didn't speak as much as they used too.
And as for Gundhams confused feelings on his crush(?), they still always lingered near.

When he was around Kazuichi, it felt as if his heart was going to burst. His cheeks always warmed up and tinted red and his mind was full of random thoughts of the other boy. He occasionally found himself glancing over at him during class, being distracted from whatever their teacher was teaching. Whenever Kazuichi caught him, he'd give a big smile making the breeder blush and turn away before anyone could notice.
Gundham just didn't know what these feelings were, it was so foreign to him and he couldn't understand why one person seem to outshine everyone else?
Gundham never bothered to linger on those feelings too long however, he was too caught up in his new social life. He loved walking through the hallways and having multiple people say goodmorning to him, and while it was kind of embarrassing, when he would go to the freshman part of Hopes Peak for various reasons, Miu would usually greet him and show off to her peers how she was "friends with the coolest Junior ever!"

Gundham told Kazuichi almost everything going on in his life, but there was one thing he had kept a secret.
He had never told the others about how Sonia broken up with him. Yeah sure, he told Kazuichi what he had seen during the party, but Kazuichi had no idea that they were already done with. Gundham kept it a secret for various reasons, he was scared.
He was worried that as soon as Kazuichi found out he and Sonia broke up, the boy would fall right back in love with her. He didn't want that to happen. But why? he didn't know why, he didn't really want to know anyway.

It he knew that Kazuichi would find out eventually, but until that time came, he was willing to drag it out as long as he can. It was for the sake of keeping his friend, for the sake of his friend not falling for anybody.

As the hot sun shone on his face, Gundham sat at a lonely lunch table, eating a small salad he had picked out. Right next to him, his devas were busy taking small bites of a piece of lettuce they had stolen from his salad.
While the lunch table may have looked lonely, he wasn't. Next to him on his left sat Izuru, he only stared at his lunch which was a bento box packed by his brother. On the bento was a note that said

Please eat today Izuru! No wasting food dude

Izuru stared at the note and picked it up. He ripped at the sticky note until it became an octagon and began to take small bites of the fried rice.

No one really knew how Izuru and Gundham became friends, no one but themselves of course. About a few days ago, everyone in class 77-B practically went crazy from shock after Izuru walked into the classroom like nothing was weird. And it only got worse when he walked right up to Gundham and demanded that he sit with him at lunch.

"Tanaka. Sit with me at lunch today."

"EEK! Another Goth weirdo, ew! Get out of here Kamakura!" Hiyoko shrieked, pointing at the man. Izuru only raised an eyebrow and scowled at her.
"Goth..? Im not-"
"Hey! If yer tryna kill Gundham I won't let ya!" Akane shouted, though she sounded serious and intimidating, she was backed up into a corner along with Nekomaru, both seemed visibly afraid.
"Kamakura! The true embodiment of hope!" Nagito shouted with a blush on his face. He stood up and grinned happily but didn't dare to move towards Izuru knowing exactly he could avoid his moves.

The only ones who acted normal were Fuyuhiko, Kazuichi, Gundham, Ms. Chisa, and Teruteru who didn't seem surprised that The Izuru Kamakura just burst into their classroom and demanded to have lunch with Tanaka. Teurteru snickered and made a pervish remark about Gundham and Izuru doing more than just lunch and got slapped behind the head by Sonia.
Izuru ignored the other pupils and stared at Gundham in the eye, awaiting his response.
"So Tanaka?"
