Chapter 14: Stolen Kiss

Off: "And she... she... left me..."

Off ends his sentence with a hiccup, hands tightly gripping on the 8th bottle of beer. Gun wonders what is that interesting to listen to this same story for 4th time now? Maybe it was his mild tipsy head or the way Off says it or the man himself. He doesn't know.

Off: "Then... I stopped dating..."

Gun: "Don't you want someone to take care of you? You know everyone will love someone right? What if your brothers have lovers?"

Off: "Then I will be alone... but they don't have any hehe..."

Gun: "I will never leave you alone."

Off: "You promise?"

He asked leaning forward with his unsteady pinky finger. Gun cooed in his head.

Gun: "I promise."

Off: "Even if I don't have money? Even if I am not The Jumpol?"

Gun: "You were never The Jumpol to me. I love the man who was responsible for his siblings, who sacrificed his happiness for others."

Off: "You... love me?"

Gun: "Yes, I do."

Off: "Okay."

Gun: "What? Are you not going to say it back?"

Off: "I don't love you."

Gun: "You broke my little heart Off."

He don't know whether Off heard him or not as he started chugging down his drink.

Off: "Do you know how I met her?"

There he goes again, with his love story.

Gun: "Off, C'mon let's go home."

Gun fruitlessly tried pulling Off who was trying to climb on the tombstone. After an hour, Off drowned two more bottles and he is completely out of his mind now.

Off: "Lea...ve.. me... I am going.. to sleewp..."

Gun: "You can sleep in your room, get up now."

Off: "I am.. going to sleep... with my ma..."

He climbed and laid on his stomach on the rectangular tombstone.

Gun: "You still have many years to live, you can sleep with them later."

He successfully made Off get up from that tombstone, now comes the great task to get him to his car. Climbing the walls was out of the picture with how much unsteady Off was and Gun hates to admit, he can't climb without help.

Unknown: "Hey! Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Gun turned towards the direction of the sound and closed his eyes protectively as the flashlight mercilessly attacked his eyes.

Gun: "I am Gun, Off's friend."

Only then the man turned off the light and was shocked to see Off half consciously swaying.

Watchman: "Master Off? How did he come inside?"

Gun: "We could've come through the main door if you were here,but you were not. So we had to climb the wall."

Watchman: "Sorry sir."

He went to help Gun by balancing Off on the other side. He helped him to place Off on the passenger seat at front.
