You get back together

Izuku Midoriya

It's been a month since Izuku came back from the mission to rescue Bakugo, and he hasn't talked to you even once. It hasn't been easy more him, meeting up with All Might and not being able to ask for you, most of the times he would only nod to him, to make him understand that you were ok.

It hasn't been easy for you either, you missed him every minute of every day, but felt lonely. The thing was that you were never alone, not really. Even when you haven't actually talked, Izuku had been following for the past weeks, just to be sure you were ok.

One day, as you were doing your daily routine, he couldn't take it anymore and showed himself in front of you. "Izuku?" He looked pale, like he hasn't been sleeping, "Are you ok?"

You were worried, but he just nodded and smiled at you, "I miss you." it's everything he was able to say. Was there anything else he could say? He thought about a beautiful speech, but nothing felt more honest than that for him.

You didn't say anything, nothing else made sense, you dropped all your things to the floor and hugged him in the middle of the street, crying. Neither of you said anything more, after hugging for a while, he picked your things from the floor and walked with you back to your place.

It was odd, you weren't going to deny it, but at the same time, it was how it was meant to be. "Y/N" said Izuku when he got to your door, "I missed you. I am sorry. I know I was selfish, and dumb, and the worst thing is that I made you worry. I am deeply sorry."

You hugged him once more, "It was selfish of me to ask you to stay, you are going to be a Hero, the best one. I shouldn't just want to keep you for myself. I was just worried about you. I was scared."

"I know, I know, and you were right. I will never do something so reckless again. I promise." Nothing else was needed. You knew he would keep his promise and you would never stop worrying, but you loved him for who he was.

Katsuki Bakugo

Everything was dark, you could hear Shoto's voice, but everything was dark around you. It was yet another panic attack, it hadn't happened in a while, but now there it was. You were sweating and whenever you started to panic, your quirk would activate by itself and no one was able to come close to you, "What the hell is going on?" You heard, that wasn't Shoto anymore. It was Katsuki.

"I can't get close to her. I don't know why she started to panic." Shoto told him. Again, you were able to listen, you wanted to say 'I'm here' but the words didn't come out of your mouth.

There was another female voice there, probably Momo, but then again, you couldn't see her, "Stand back" Katsuki said, you could hear him perfectly, like if he was inside of your field force with you. "I'll try to reach her, just leave and I will call you when she is ok." Something changed in the atmosphere when you heard him again, "Y/N, it's me, Katsuki. Please, let me hold you. Lower your force field." He said, his voice was soothing, so unlike him.

"I am alone." You said, you were crying, but finally were answering. "I am alone and will always be alone." You kept saying.

"Hey, no, no. You would never be alone; you have people who love you. Your parents, Icy-Hot, your friends." He paused for a second, "Me. You have me. I will always be here, for as long as you let me. Please, lower your force field, I'm here and I want to hold you."

Then, your quirk stopped, Katsuki looked at you, you looked so fragile, it could almost break his heart. He slowly came closer to you, "Can I?" He said and you just opened your arms to hold him too. He didn't hesitate. "I am really sorry I hurt you, Y/N. I am an idiot and you deserved way better than me, but I am also fucking selfish, that is why I can only promise to try harder if you take me back. Please. Give me a chance and I'll never let you go."
