Zero's p.o.v.

I finish cleaning up the kitchen before I go to the bathroom. And I can sense Tess is sleeping.

After I clean it up and handle the laundry I look around wishing again this house wasn't so big but glad it was cause I'd had a house load of company. I finally return to the living room to spot my wife sleeping on her stomach in her pj's as the bruise from the needle finally starts to improve now that she's not fighting her body. I look at her shorts in her pj's admiring her legs again. I don't know if Richter's in on it but until I'm sure I don't want him near her. And I definitely don't want that insane red head by her.

There guards but I'm expected at the office Monday and I don' t want to leave her here alone. She's so drained I can feel it. Her body used a lot just to fight herself. I grab my tablet and start reading incoming reports until I fall asleep on the chair next to her.

I stay close to her the whole weekend and she has frequent visitors like when she got hurt back at the academy when she first arrived. She was up and moving around Monday but still tired however she did get up and make me breakfast anyways. She's wearing a t-shirt and shorts and I have her come with me to the office telling her she can help me with my paperwork.

She's sitting in a chair I'd had brought in her shoes off legs over the side of the couch crossed as she sucks on a sucker while going over electronic files sorting hunts on a large tablet. I have the radio on because it's her habit and I'm used to it now so her foots tapping to the beat. I have my coffee and her tea cup is on the table next to her. Her shotgun is under the couch in hiding as are her sighs.

The door slams open again and she looks at me raised eyebrow.

"Can't anyone knock around here.", she says annoyed and I have to admit I'm annoyed to. I look up and it's Richter.

"Didn't I say I didn't want you in my office unless I sent for you.", I say coldly shuffling papers as he looks at me and not noticing Tess yet. I see Tess's eyes burn holes in his back.

" I assure you I had nothing to do with your wife being drunk at the party.", he says as Tess looks more irritated.

"Ya and I don't appreciating you side kick trying to roofie my drink and then stabbing me with the crap.", Tess says now looking at him and catching his attention. "There was enough crap in that needle to kill a person, I'm just lucky I recovered." I sense her irritation. She then gets up giving him a harsh glare shoot she's pist. I am a little too.

"If you were more fit as a president's wife this stuff wouldn't happen.", Richter says and I hear Tess get angrier.

"Says the man trying to marry my husband off to a different woman.", she says sharply " who are you to judge me as Zero's wife and what kind of wife I should be." she now stands in front of him at her full height of 5ft 11 showing how short he is compared.

"A hunter was elected this time who married a hunter, last time you had the cross dresser, who was Asato's puppet., and was gender confused. "

"I am the former VP and should be VP again, I can decide because I'm older and your just some girl that looks cute in an office.", he says as I sit back and watch the show knowing Tess is ready to clobber him.
