Wednesday's POV :
It's been almost a week without Enid. She hasn't been talking to me or Thing. Her side of our dorm doesn't seem as gruesome as before. The thought of her not giggling and texting in the prismatic side of the room makes the atmosphere seem tenantless, and not in a good way. Her colorful, bright aura does give my life a little merriment, which I lack. I am willing to give an apology, but I'm not used to asking for forgiveness. I could try communicating with her other friends, It will be quite a tribulation for me, but I would do anything to be forgiven by Enid Sinclair.
Wednesday goes around the campus to look for Enid's other acquaintances and/or friends. The only person she could think to approach is Yoko, but she was pretty much stuck together with Enid. She waited for a time when Yoko was alone.
Wednesday : Yoko.
Yoko : Huh? Oh, it's you. What do you want?
Wednesday : I want to speak with Enid.
Yoko : Oh please, goodluck. She won't stop venting about how furious and disappointed she is in you.
Wednesday : Exactly why I want to try to apologize.
Yoko : You're just wasting your time, she's really mad at y-
Wednesday : YOKO PLEASE. I'M TRYING, I REALLY AM. CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN ME JUST FOR ONCE? I'M AWARE SHE'S AGITATED BY THE THOUGHT OF ME, JUST PLEASE, HELP ME OUT.
Yoko : I didn't expect that to come out from you. Fine. I'll help.
Wednesday : Enid will know nothing about this, correct?
Yoko : She won't.
Yoko lifts her hand for a handshake, just for a sign of settlement, but Wednesday just glared at her and ignores her hand.
---- TIME SKIP AFTER CLASS ----
Wednesday searches around the campus for Yoko, but she doesn't manage to find her. She had no choice but go to her dorm, where Enid is probably staying.
Wednesday's POV :
Deep breaths. Emotion equals weakness, this isn't something to be nervous about. I am confident about my decisions and actions.
Wednesday opens the door and finds Yoko all alone in her dorm which relieves Wednesday.
Wednesday : God, my heart almost combusted into tiny little clumps. Now, help me. How do I exactly "apologize?"
Yoko : Just be sincere. Admit and take the blame with shit you're aware you did. What exactly did you do to make Enid so infuriated? I've never even seen her be this less enthusiastic before.
Wednesday : I don't remember anything from that night that much. Everything happened by so fast. I do remember something that is nailed onto my head. She said she liked me, and wanted to go to the Rave'n with me.
Yoko slowly turns her head to Wednesday with her jaw dropped,
Yoko : WHAT? SHE LIKES YOU AND WANTED TO GO WITH YOU?
Wednesday : I didn't expect you to be astounded at that.
Yoko : I see now why she's so mad. You rejected her, didn't you?
Wednesday : I've always thought showing emotion and affection towards someone makes me weak. I believed that Enid wanted me to be on the same level as you all.
Yoko : Wednesday. Are you fucking stupid? Emotions are natural human functions, everyone feels them. Including you.
After what Wednesday heard, it really turned her point of view upside down.
Wednesday : I dislike saying things like these, but you're correct. Tell Enid to go to the balcony of our dorm by 11PM.
Yoko : I got you.
---- TIME SKIP TO 11:15 PM ----
Wednesday stood by the balcony, Enid was late by 15 minutes. The fresh breeze spiraling around her gives her an anxious feeling. She hears the door open, expecting it to be Enid.
Wednesday : Enid, you ca- ..What? Yoko?
Yoko : She's not coming.
Wednesday : I..I don't understand.
Yoko : She didn't want to.
Wednesday : What do you mean..? And why? What did I do this time?
Yoko : She doesn't want to see you, Wednesday.
Wednesday : Well, tell her I was gonna apologize.
Yoko : I did, still didn't break her shell. Sorry, Wednesday.
Wednesday : Leave.
Yoko : Hey d-
Wednesday : I said leave.
As soon as Yoko left, Wednesday sat by the railing of the balcony, cherishing the cold breeze of the wind stirring her surroundings. The rhythm of her breathing became unsteady, her heart felt like it was being incinerated, the burning ache was festering in her chest, all the way into her whole body. She bowed her head down and tears fell down her eyes. Her being in woe and violently being in tears made her realize how emotions didn't represent weakness. Nevermore really did change her point of views in life, positively. She is a sadistic kind of person, but being in woe towards one specific person, Enid, it's like her chest was being scorched on fire. She continues to weep, she didn't know she needed to let all her emotions out this bad. Her tears kept flowing as if it were a lake, it wouldn't end it's flowing.
As Wednesday still sat there, in tears, she felt someone embracing her from her back. The warm feeling and the comfort she felt, the person's aura felt different. She turned her head and saw the person's vivid sweater, she was enthused to see Enid was hugging her. Wednesday immediately stood up and hugged Enid as firm as she could, Wednesday repeatedly apologized, her stuttering made Enid feel like Wednesday was really being sincere and sorry. Wednesday wouldn't let go of Enid, it was like she put off the fire that was being seared in Wednesday's chest.
Enid wipes Wednesday's tears and plants a kiss on her forehead,
Enid : It's okay.. it's okay.. I'm here.
Wednesday : I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry.
Enid : You really cried for me, didn't you?
Wednesday : Oh, shut up about it.
Enid chuckles and continues to embrace Wednesday whilst stroking her hair,
Enid : I'm going back, don't worry.
Wednesday : I missed you.
Enid : I know.
To be continued !!?!?!?
