Kabanata 2

"Hey, young man. Ba't ka nandito? Kanina ka pa tinatawag ni tita a." hinawi ko ang kamay ni Dwayne nang akbayan niya ako.

"Yeah, like you believe that you can fucking lie in front of my face." Walang emosyon kong sabi.

I'm on this peaceful garden, busy watching the silent fireflies doing their duty at night. Supposed to be, I should be in there, inside, listening on how they interview that Porty—Pory—Protty—Patty—Protein or whatever her name was and know something about her but I am too lazy to do so. It's not that she's a big deal. Or she?

"Tsk, ang gwapong gaya ko ay hindi marunong magsinungaling, Vale." He said, shrugging his head.

I rolled my eyes, "What do you want?"

"I told you, your mom is calling your name several times now. Look," sinundan ko ang tinitignan niya and yeah, he's right, there was my mom leaning her back on the door. "Her eyes is in bloody red. Guess she's planning to bury someone alive." Nasundan ko rin ang marahan niyang pagsulyap sa akin ng natatawa.

Bahagya akong napalunok at walang nagawa kalaunan kundi ang ibulsa ang isang kamay sa loob ng itim kong pantalon at maglakad palapit ng sariling ina. I even heard Dwayne's silent laugh. After this stupid thing, let me burn your face until it turns into ashes.

King and you has no particular differences. Annoying and loud.

"Mom,"

"I am not informed that you changed your name because you aren't paying attention every time I calls you 'The triple V'". Yes, she's sarcastic.

I sighed, "I am not the only Triple V, mom."

Veronica is a triple V too.

"Vale, tatawagin ko ba ang kapatid mo kung kasama ko naman siya sa loob?" he raised her eyebrow. "Of course, it's you who I'm calling."

Well, as the descendant of the beast, what should I expect? The lectures are lessons too so it's alright.

"Don't you want to know anything about Portia?"

Oh yeah it's Portia. I thought it's Pota.

"Why do I have to?"

It's not because I agreed that she can be my slave, I would be responsible in knowing everything about her. I don't even socialize with other vampire so why the hell should I socialize myself for a human like her? I mean, It's not that I hate humans because my mom and my sister was born humans too, It's just that... I am fucking avoiding something that could be led us through difficulties at the end of the view.

Have they forgot that I can see the future?
