My backpack dropped onto the ground as I rushed outside. I huffed slightly, bending down to pick it up just as Gavin came out behind me.
"Where the heck are you going? And why did you just leave like that?" He asked, frowning as he looked down at me.
"Because! You're starting to really frustrate me!" I almost shouted, scowling.
Gavin raised his eyebrow, folding his arms across his chest. "I'm frustrating you? How so?"
I shot him a glare, slinging my backpack over my shoulder and standing up. "Stop kissing me."
"You're mad that I kissed you?" He asked, his lips curving into an amused smirk.
I pursed my lips, looking up at him in annoyance. "Yes!" I shouted, tossing my hands up dramatically. "I'm mad that you kissed me."
Gavin rolled his eyes slightly, shaking his head. "Fine, princess. I'll stop kissing you."
"Don't roll your eyes at me, Gavin. I have every right to be mad."
"Yeah, whatever. I just don't see why you're so mad about it." He said, shrugging.
I pursed my lips again, resisting the urge to roll my eyes and walk away. "We aren't dating. We're friends. Ans friends don't kiss each other."
He looked down at me again, his jaw clenching a little as I said that.
"Fine. Go home. I'll see you whenever."
And with that, he turned back around, stepped through his front door, and then slammed his front door.
