Granit Xhaka x reader

PART 6

Almost 2 weeks have passed since you got eliminated from the World Cup.
You were still thinking if you should move to Arsenal or Liverpool.
Days, hours and minutes spent only on one decision.

"I've decided where I want to go", you said to Ancelotti after entering his office.
"Tell Mr. Arteta that I'm ready to talk about his offer."
It was a very hard decision for you, but after all, you thought that Arsenal would be the best for you.

Arteta was really happy to hear that you were interested in joining Arsenal.
After the talks, you officially joined Arsenal.
But before Arteta would tell the whole squad who the new player joining Arsenal would be, you asked him to keep the news to himself, as you wanted to surprise a certain someone from the team.

You still had one last game with Real Madrid before leaving.
It was against FC Barcelona.
90th minute, 1-1.
Vini and Gavi were the ones who scored the goals.
You got the freekick.
Everyone was looking at you.
You took a deep breath and took the freekick like a professional player, and scored the goal making it 2-1 in the 90th minute.
You celebrated with the whole squad.
You felt like crying, so that was what you did.
The fans were chanting your name.
The whole squad was surrounding and hugging you.
"Was it the right decision?", you thought.

A few days later, it was finally time for you to leave Madrid.
Tears started to roll down your cheeks as you got on the plane to England.
You remembered all of the memories.
Making friends at the academy, joining Real Madrid, your debut, your first goal, winning the UCL and winning the La Liga.
So many memories you created at the club.
Leaving your first team is never easy, but you have to keep your head high and keep going forward.

You finally arrived in London.
The weather was even colder than you expected.
You then went directly to see your new home.

It was huge, and you loved it!
You immediatly started unpacking your stuff so you could still go out for a little bit.

You then changed your clothes before going out, since it was very cold.
Walking around London felt really great.
You finally got the time to spend in the city you always wanted to live in.
"Finally, only hearing English feels really great", you thought.

You had some friends in London, so you decided to surprise them and go out to eat somewhere.

You talked, ate and had lots of fun with your friends. Until you got a message.

"Hi Y/N, how are you? Haven't talked in a pretty long time :)" -Xhaka

"Who is it?", one of your friends asked.

"It's no-one" you answered, putting your phone in your purse.
You wanted to answer him so bad, but you didn't want your friends to find out who you were talking with.
You thought that they were much prettier than you, and that if they would find out who you were talking to, they would try to get with him.

After having fun with the girls, you finally went home.
You immediately took out your phone and texted Xhaka back.

"Hey, sorry for not answering. I was out with a few friends"

"Hope you had lots of fun then.", he said, "Have you thought about the transfer? The transfer-window is almost over."

"Oh yeah, tomorrow I'll talk with Ancelotti about my decision."
You didn't want to lie to him, but you still wanted to surprise him.

You texted for a little while, until you wanted to go to sleep.

"Do you think you'd be able to come to training tomorrow at 8 a.m.? I can't wait for you to meet the squad." -Mr. Arteta

"Sure, I'll be there :)", you answered.

"Just arrived and already meeting the squad", you thought to yourself as you lightly laughed.
