Chapter 9: Meeting Kenton

Blossom's P.O.V:

I go to my closet looking through it frantically when something red catches my eyes. Its my little red cocktail dress. Omg it's perfect. I put it on and it fits just right. I head over to my vanity to do my hair and makeup. I decide on curling my hair in loose curls. I look at my hair in the mirror and nod at my reflection. I go over to my makeup and decide on smoky eyes with red lipstick and I'm done.

I look at the clock and it's been two hours. Wow that took longer than I expected. I head down the stairs when I remember shoes. Crap how could I forget. I smack my head and run back up the stairs. I reach in my closet for my black diamond heels. I put them on my feet and walk down the stairs. This time I'm ready. I go to my front door and there's Kale dressed in a nice tuxedo. He looks devilishly handsome as he smiles at me.

"Well you clean up nice" I tease him.

"The same could be said for you" he says smirking. We laugh and get into his hummer.

"This is going to be fun!" I say bouncing in the front seat.

"For sure" he says smiling at me.

"sooooo how long is it going to be till we get there?" I ask becoming impatient.

"not that long" Kale replies as my stomach chooses that moment to growl.

"Well some ones hungry" he laughs as I blush.

"No kidding" I say. Pretty soon we're pulling into a parking spot. And before I can hop out of the hummer, Kale opens the door and helps me out.

"A true gentleman" I laugh at him and kiss his cheek.

"True dat, let's go eat" he says as we hold hands. We're seated and than we order our food. I look around the place watching people dance and sing along to whatever the bands performing. As we eat our steak we watch the couples around us dancing and than he takes my hand.

"Want to dance?" he asks.

"Do you even have to ask" I say rolling my eyes.

We get up and we're dancing around the room. He places his hands on my waist, encircling me closer to him. I put my arms around his shoulders and bring us closer. I feel his breath fanning on my neck, sending shivers down my back. I lean in closer and kiss his cheek softly. We're interrupted when the music stops. We look up at the stage when the announcer walks up to the microphone.

"We have a special treat for you all tonight. The one and only Falling Kingdom is performing" the announcer say before walking off the stage as the band shuffles in. I turn to Kale and notice he's gotten paler.

"What's wrong?" I ask but he only shakes his head so I turn towards the stage.

The lead singer comes up and I almost faint. Kale is up there. I turn beside me. But he is also right beside me. What the hell is going on? Just before I open my mouth the singer starts to talk.

"I'm Kenton Rogers, and these fine fellows are Mike, Louis, and Tanner. Tonight we will be performing 'love me again', 'the road' and 'she, the goddess'" he says looking exactly like Kale and sounding like him. Kale has a twin?

"Look I can explain." he starts.

"Yea you better but not right now I don't want my night to be ruined. So just dance with me okay?" I demand

We're dancing when the band is done their finale. And Kale's twin walks up to us.

"Hey bro, who's this lovely lady?" he asks standing there looking at me.

"It's the girl I was telling you about, my girlfriend Blossom" Kale replies nervously.

"oh, nice I'm Kenton, Kale's twin" he says smirking at me.

"well I'm Blossom" I say shaking his hand. It's not everyday you find out your boyfriend has a twin without you knowing.

"Good to meet you, I've been wanting to meet you ever since I found out a girl captured my bros heart" Kenton replies.

"If only he had told me about you" I reply.

"I was going to baby, I just didn't know how" Kale says pleading with me.

"Wait- you didn't tell your girlfriend you have a twin? Dude that's a stupid move" his brother says cocking an eyebrow as he walks away.

"I know and I'm really sorry" Kale says looking at me.

"it's fine you're forgiven." I say.

"thanks babe" Kale says smiling.

"buttt you're gonna have to explain everything to me and no more secrets ok?" I say.

"I promise no more secrets and I will tell you everything". He promises me.

"okay we'll I'm tired do you want to go home?" I ask my Kale.

"Yes sure it's time to hit the sack" he says as we walk out.

As I brush my teeth, I love knowing Kale is sleeping over. Thank god my parents have a meeting in New York this week. We get the whole house to our selves. I go into my bedroom and see Kale's already laying on my bed sleeping. Or it looks like he's sleeping. He just looks so peaceful resting on my bed. His face is relaxed and he has a cute smile on his face. I climb into the bed with him and snuggle up to him as he wraps his arms around me. We both fall asleep with our arms around each other.
