Journal Log 8:

The situation on Sodor remains tense, but there's a glimmer of hope on the horizon. With the threat of invasion growing, we've been reaching out to other regions for support. This morning, a message arrived from the Great Western Railway, offering assistance. It seems that some of their engines will be joining us to help bolster our defenses and support our operations.

Among those arriving are Duck, Oliver, Toad, Donald, Douglas, and Arthur. Each of these engines brings unique strengths that will be crucial in the challenging days ahead.

Duck, known for his strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills, will be a great asset in managing the logistics of our operations. Oliver and Toad, with their experience in handling goods and tricky situations, will provide invaluable support in transporting supplies and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Donald and Douglas, the twin engines, are renowned for their bravery and resilience. They've faced numerous challenges on their own and will bring a much-needed boost to our team. Arthur, with his kind demeanor and reliability, will be another dependable ally.

But what caught my attention most was the news that Gordon, the famous Big Engine, will also be coming with them. He's known for his strength and speed, and having him on our side will be a significant boost. The idea of working alongside him fills me with a sense of both excitement and nervousness.

Journal Log 9:

Gordon arrived today, and his presence has certainly made an impression. There was a mix of awe and respect from the engines as he rolled into Tidmouth Sheds. Thomas and I greeted him, and he immediately got to work. Gordon's sheer power and determination were evident as he took on some of the heaviest loads we had to offer.

Duck and Oliver took charge of organizing the incoming supplies, ensuring everything was in its rightful place. Donald and Douglas, along with Arthur, worked on getting the railways in top condition, making sure that every track was clear and ready for action.

I spent some time talking with Gordon about the situation. He shared stories of his own experiences and offered advice on how to handle the current crisis. His confidence and calm demeanor were reassuring, and it was clear that he had faced adversity before with great courage.

Journal Log 10:

Today, we had a brief meeting with the Great Western Engines to discuss our strategy. Gordon took the lead, outlining a plan to use our combined resources to create a more robust defense system for the island. Duck, Oliver, and the others contributed their insights, and it was clear that we were forming a strong team.

We decided that the engines would be assigned specific roles based on their strengths. Duck and Oliver would handle the critical supply routes, ensuring that everything needed for defense and support was transported efficiently. Donald and Douglas would focus on maintaining and fortifying the tracks, while Arthur would be on standby for any emergencies that might arise.

Gordon and Thomas would be the primary engines for rapid response, ready to tackle any immediate threats or challenges. Their combined strength and speed would be a powerful asset in any situation.

Journal Log 11:

As night fell, the engines continued their preparations. There was a renewed sense of purpose and unity among us all. The Great Western Engines, with their experience and camaraderie, have integrated seamlessly with our own team.

The atmosphere around Sodor has changed. What was once a tranquil island is now a place of vigilance and preparation. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, there is a strong spirit of collaboration and hope. With the arrival of our new allies, I feel more confident that we can face whatever challenges lie ahead.

As we continue to prepare for the possibility of conflict, I am grateful for the support we've received and the strength of our combined efforts. Tomorrow, we will begin putting our plan into action, and I trust that with the help of Gordon and the Great Western Engines, we will be ready to protect our home.
