I was on the couch on my phone, minding my business while scrolling through Pinterest. I had my AirPods in but the volume was low. So I could clearly hear when someone walked into the room. I just chose not to look up.
Apparently, my sister's boyfriend Dion was coming over for dinner. So air pods were definitely needed so he didn't think he could talk to me.
Listen. I'm not mean. Just antisocial.
Yea, the AirPods didn't serve their purpose as I felt him sit beside me on the couch.
Still, I continued to act like I was occupied completely by my phone.
He stayed silent beside me which I appreciated. I had no idea where my sister was but knowing her ass she was somewhere taking pictures no one wanted to see.
"Guys! Dinner is almost ready so get washed up!"
I groaned under my breath and peeked under my lashes. Dion was on his phone like he hadn't heard my mom. I shrugged and got up from the couch, taking the stairs two at a time on the way up to my room.
Once I got in I shut the door behind me and dug some clothes out.
I know she wanted me to just wash my hands but a shower meant I could kill time so I was taking one.
"Probably should have told her I was in the shower." I thought about it for a moment then realized I didn't care.
She couldn't get to me if she was mad anyway. All I had to do was lock the door.
Yes. I lived a dangerous life.
