He was late.

Jackson glanced at his Apple Watch and sighed in annoyance. It was their anniversary and his boyfriend was late. He was so going to kick his ass when he got there.

At least it was a pretty day. Plus he was outside his favorite cake shop. So happy thoughts.

He unclenched his hands and breathed out. He would not lose his anger. "Let me just go inside and eat." He held the door open for a girl who bowed in thanks and then entered after her.

He order his favorite strawberry cake with chocolate flakes along with an iced americano coffee. He took a seat at one of the marble round tables and pulled out his phone to check emails.

The device suddenly beeped, vibrating his table, and alerting him that his order was ready. Grabbing his bag, he smiled at the cashier before taking his order out the door with him.

Deciding to sit on the bench in front of the shop so his boyfriend wouldn't miss him, he placed the bag down first and then took a seat beside it.

The evening was lovely with pink skies and a light breeze that ruffled his black hair, moving it around his forehead. His clothes were casual. Making for another reason to enjoy the moment.

"Jackson!" He raised his head in the direction his name was called. His boyfriend was running down the sidewalk with a bundle of flowers in one hand. He looked laughable with how big his eyes were. Panic is clear in them even from the distance.

Jackson picked his fork up and dug into the cake. Lifting it to his lips, he took a bite with his eyes still on his boyfriend who was close by then.

Just as Jackson took a sip of his americano he saw a girl around him and his boyfriend's age stop him. Jackson raised a brow, watching the moment play out.

He could hear his boyfriend, Trey try to explain to her that he was in a rush. He saw how she placed her hand on his arm after pretending to almost fall. Jackson sighed, standing up from the bench to approach the two.

He stopped behind them with his hands in his pockets. Trey stared at him helplessly, it was almost funny. Jackson turned his attention to the girl who had yet to notice him.

He cleared his throat. "Excuse me, Miss." she turned to him with frustration clear on her face. "Please step away from my boyfriend. He's already late."

She scoffed. "You guys are together." She eyed him distastefully. "As in gay." She said it like it was a disease she would contract if she wasn't careful to whisper it.

"Gay?" Jackson grinned and turned his attention to Trey who looked about ready to leave. "Are we gay?" He asked him.

Trey stared at him, completely lost.

"Hmm." Jackson scratched his head and then shrugged his shoulders. "Let's see." He moved around the girl and grabbed Trey by his neck, forcing his lips on his.

The kiss was sexual.

Not the kind of kiss you shared in front of anyone.

Jackson licked Trey's lips when he moved away and then turned his attention back to the girl who stared at them with her mouth dropped.

"Yea. Guess we are." He wiped his finger over his bottom lip and grinned.

"You're very rude." She yelled at him.

Suddenly her attention went to the cup in her hand and she grinned. "Next time don't act such a way in front of a lady!" In a swift move, she dumped the cup on his head.

The coffee was cold on his head. His clothes stuck to his body like a second skin. The people around them gasped and pointed. Shocked to see such a thing happening on a usually calm street.

Jack licked his lips and grinned. Shrugging, he turned back around to his bench and grabbed his unfinished cake.

He walked back to the girl who glared at him with a pleased smile on her lips. He looked at Trey who reached out to stop him. Jackson held out his hand, the grin still on his lips.

"I'm completely calm."  He told him and then turned his attention back to the girl.

He stopped in front of her and looked her up and down. Before she could move or open her mouth he dumped the cake on top of her head. He smushed it into her hair, making sure to let the sweetness get in her roots.

"I'd never act such a way with a lady."

He pulled his hand away with the empty cardboard still in his hand. The girl gasped, her hands on top of her head, holding it with shock.

"You ready?" He asked Trey who looked ready to pass out. He saw his throat move as he gulped. "Come on. Don't want to be late for our movie." He grabbed his hand and pulled him with him.
