Wednesday was very absorbed in her writing when a text dinging on her phone so rudely interrupted.

She reached for it in annoyance, what possibly could Xavier want? It was midday so it couldn't be a nightmare.

However when she unlocked it she quickly realized it was not Xavier, but her stalker.

They'd sent her about a dozen more photos, some from just last night of her and Xavier, but some exact replicas of those she found in Thornhills home last year. Some where even of her sleeping, in her dorm. She immediately felt unsafe, especially when her theories were confirmed by the last one, it was of her and Tyler at the dance last year. It was taken inside the school... it was as she feared.

Her stalker was a Nevermore student.

Wednesday found herself immediately heading for Xavier's dorm, phone clutched in her hand.

She banged on his door but when it opened, she was faced with Bianca.

"What are you doing here?" Bianca asked rather rudely.

Wednesday raised her eyebrows and pushed past her, "I could ask you the same thing."

Wednesday had decided to ignore the fact that the nauseous feeling had immediately returned to her when she saw Bianca in his room.

Xavier did a double take when he turned around to see what the commotion was and was met with Wednesday Addams looking panicked.

"I need to speak to you, alone." Wednesday said, shooting daggers at Bianca.

Bianca laughed, looking between the two of them her eyebrows raised. Eventually she did respect Wednesdays wishes and left with a quick goodbye.

"What the hell was that about Wednesday?" Xavier asked, sounding slightly annoyed.

"Why was she here?" Wednesday asks betraying herself. She found the need to know, in spite of what she was there for.

"I just had to talk to her about a project." Xavier said, finally piecing things together. "Oh my god, you're not jealous are you Wednesday? She's my ex for a reason."

Wednesday felt the urge to pickup Rowan's desk chair and smack Xavier over the head with it.

Her jealous? Never.

But then why had her stomach ache gone away the second he reassured her they were not back together.

"Of course I am not jealous Xavier, who you have relations with is none of my business." Her words were empty though, she didn't even truly believe them herself anymore. He certainly didn't.

Xavier opened his mouth to say something but she quickly interrupted, "my stalker texted again."

His expression quickly changed, he immediately reached for the phone she was holding out to him.

The second he reached the photos of her sleeping his jaw clenched. "You can sleep in here Wednesday." Xavier said, ignoring the last photo of her and Tyler.

Wednesday goes to turn down the offer but can't. She is scared, as much as she hates to admit it. She knows Enid will be fine after she explains everything, the stalkers out for her.

"Okay," she says finally. "You do know what these photos mean though? The stalker is here, a Nevermore student."

"I know. I have no idea who though, who has anything against you?" Xavier takes a seat on the edge of his bed. Gesturing for her to do the same.

Wednesday sits down, so close to Xavier their legs are pressed against eachother.

"It's not Bianca, she's in the background of the one of me and Tyler. You're the only person who should hate me and for whatever reason you do not, so I am out of leads." Even if Xavier had forgiven her, the truth was, she hadn't forgiven herself.

He places his hand on top of hers, "Wednesday, forgive yourself. I told you it's okay." He says as if he can read her mind.

Wednesday continues, ignoring what Xavier said. She doesn't make any efforts to move her hand away as she does so. "It's not Enid, I truly believe she would cut off a limb for me."

Xavier laughs, for a moment Wednesday gets lost in it. He really should laugh more she decides, it's an intoxicating sound.

After a moment he squeezes her hand, "we will figure this out okay?"

Wednesday nods, lost in her own thoughts.

If you'd told her a year ago she'd be sharing a room with Xavier Thorpe, let alone letting him hold her hand she would have most likely killed you.

It felt different with him than it had with Tyler, with Tyler it felt forced. He told her there were signals she gave him that she never saw or meant to give. She did eventually fall for him but it felt forced, she never fully let her guard down. She never truly trusted him.

With Xavier? She feels safe. For once in her life she's finally letting someone in, letting him in. When something happened, she found herself racing to tell him.

Wednesday Addams was known to hate touch, but Xavier? His touch made her melt, made her crave more.

"If I'm to stay here I'll need to get my typewriter. I can't abandon my writing just due to some stalker." Wednesday says getting up to head back ti her dorm.

Xavier follows. "Let me come with you, who knows who's out there."

She doesn't say anything so he takes that as a yes and follows. When they reach her dorm for once she gestures for him to come in.

Wednesday immediately regrets doing so when she sees the look on Enid's face as they walk in together.

"Xavier! How are you? Wednesdays been telling me about you!"

Wednesday considers ending it right then and there.

"Not a word." She says to Xavier as he turns to her with a smug expression.

The explanation to Enid was awkward at best. It didn't help that she kept looking between them as if they were one of the stupid romance movies.

"So are you guys sharing a bed then?" Enid asks a huge smile on her face, she seemed to have gotten over the lack of Wednesday as her roommate pretty fast.

"No." Wednesday says aggressively not even giving Xavier the chance to answer. She grabs her typewriter, on her way out she turns to Enid. "I'll come see you. Daily."

Enid smiles and wraps her in a hug. "Thank you bestie."

Xavier smiles at the two, it's clear Wednesday has a soft spot for the other girl wether she was willing to admit it or not.

The walk back to Xavier's room is quiet. He clearly decided against bringing up what Enid out of fear for his life.

As they start getting ready for bed, Wednesday stops in front of him. "Wake me up if you have a nightmare okay?" It's an order, not a request and she makes that very clear.

"Okay", Xavier says softly his eyes never leaving hers.

She finds herself reaching up and tucking a stray piece of his hair behind his ear. Unwanted and foreign feelings surge through her, betraying her.

They both freeze for a second, the air is tense between them.

Wednesday breaks it, finally coming to her senses and walks back over to her bed.

"Goodnight Xavier."

"Goodnight Wednesday."

Tonight falls asleep with Xavier Thorpe on her mind.
