THE SOFT GRASS UNDERNEATH HIM FELT LIKE A BLANKET, and venti could only wonder if he was either: 1, kidnapped, or 2, having a very concerningly realistic lucid dream. However, when he pinched his skin and didn't awake in his college dorm, he assumed the worst. "Hello?? Kidnappers?" He yelled, standing up from his position as the sun shone in his eyes. He received no response, making him sigh. 'What would they gain out of kidnapping me, though? I don't have any parents to pay them money...' the male thought, brows furrowed.

! venti spent a little while exploring the place, and it didn't take long for him to find out he was in genshin. The sight of dendrobiums alongside the shoreline of the beach (?) he reached confirmed his suspicion of being in inazuma, but the question was how was he going to fend for himself?

! despite the lingering thought of his death being in inazuma, venti enjoyed the scenery, happy that he was in a game he knew much about. And the fact that it wasn't a horror game. The thought of waking up in little nightmare made him shiver.

! the sound of footsteps made venti dash away to hide behind a dying, if not already dead, tree. he peaked out once the footsteps stopped, finding nobody which confused him.

"YOU SUCK AT HIDING." a tired voice hummed from behind the male, making him shriek in shock and turn around, falling on his ass. "You're lucky im not here to harm you." That voice was on so familiar, and bento's eyes widened as he glanced up, suspicions confirmed. "Devlin. . ." He whispered, making the crimson haired woman in front of him raise a brow. "How do you know my name?" She questioned, squinting her heterochromatic eyes. Venti merely looked at her in a daze. She looked much prettier in real life, and he firmly believed in that moment that hoyoverse did her no justice in her model.

Her hair looked much more soft, faint black under her eyes signaling her tiredness. Her outfit was slightly different than the one her in-game model adorned, but in a good way. Her skin looked smooth yet her hands looked slightly rough and burnt, probably from her pyro vision. "Hey. Are you alright?" Devlin kneeled down to his height, placing a hand on his forehead.

Venti blacked out.

THE SOFT HUM OF A SILKY VOICE WOKE GOROU UP, the gentle feeling of a plush bed underneath him made sleep try to pull back at him but he refused with a groan, rubbing his pounding head. "Ah, you're awake." That voice seemed familiar to gorou, yet with his dazed and foggy mind, he had yet to realize who it was that seemingly showed him hospitality. "I found you unconscious near watatsumi island's shores, and decided to take you back with me. You were out the entire trip, so I decided to get a doctor. They said you were fine, though. Tell me, what's your name?" As gorou looked up to give his name, his eyes widened.

! Never in his life did gorou expect to wake up in the game where the woman he was most down bad for came from. He especially didn't expect to wake up in her room with her taking care of him. The thought made him burn up, causing Akane to go into panic mode.

! Despite his immense confusion and even delight, he knew he'd look suspicious if he suddenly started talking to Akane and spill all her secrets, so he decided to play it cool and act like she wasn't his main who he c6ed and r5ed.

"YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE YOU'RE FROM ANY OF THE NATIONS." Akane hummed, placing the empty bowl which was once filled with tonkotsu ramen on the table next to her. Gorou froze at her words, eyes now focused on his hands that lay atop the black blanket. "Oh? Why'd you say that?" He asked, looking at her to not seem suspicious. However the more he looked at her the more he felt his mind go hazy. He didn't hear any of Akane's words, if she spoke, that is. In his eyes she looked like a Greek statue of a deity, perfectly carved by those above.

Snapping her fingers in front of his face, Akane held a teasing smile. "Oh? Am I so attractive that you're at a loss for words?" She giggled, but gorou merely nodded, still dazed. "You're... Just really pretty..." he said, before his brain fried after catching up with reality.

Lets be honest if childe woke up in genshin he'd run straight to nanami and nanami would think he's fine and date him 😭
