Level - You Win! Part 3

We open the door and quickly shut it behind us. That was the most near-death experience I've ever had in my life. But anyways, we look behind us, and It's a theater. The lights dimmed to darkness and there was an old projector that I guess played movies or TV shows.

We all sit together on one of the rows in silence for a few seconds. Liz then speaks up.

"Look, I still don't trust you, but I appreciate what you did, I hate to admit it, but we probably would've died if it wasn't for you." Liz says.

"Ummm, thank you I guess?" I respond.

Ami and Leo look a bit surprised at the fact that she apologized to me.

"Wow, I never thought you would apologize to a wanderer." Leo says.

"Well, he saved me. Not many wanderers have the courage to do that."

"I guess that is right."

"Well, now that were here, I think we should just sit down and watch the movie." Ami says.

"Well, I think it's best we don't spend time watching movies, those guys from before may catch up to us." Leo says.

"Come on Leo, this movie is almost over, plus, it looks like there's a snack section here, let's at least finish this movie and get some snacks, then we'll be out." Ami says.

"No, we shouldn't do that. They'll catch up to us and will actively try to kill us at every cost, not to mention it'll probably disrupt the movie and we may get in trouble from the Crisis Handlers. We should leave."

"Oh come on Leo were always running, they may be dealt with already, just let us get a break from all this running and hiding, the movie literally has like 30 minutes left just let us finish it then we'll be out of here."

She had a point, even though I haven't been with them long enough to know what they've been through, I do know that we have all been running and hiding for a while now. Our eating and drinking schedules are messy and were all tired from all this running and hiding. I'm especially tired from all this trauma, a human being should not be exposed to this much trauma and this many nightmares, all I want is a break.

"Leo, were all tired, if I go on any longer I might as well die. Were all tired, thirsty, and traumatized. Give us a break man." I say.

"Yeah, I get we need a break, but if we sit here and fall asleep or put our guard down, they would have a chance to unexpectedly jump us. Ok, Ami is right, those guys from before might have already been taken care of, but at the same time, we don't know. They might not have been taken care of, and I'm not willing to take that risk. We can get some snacks, then leave. I can't lose any of you guys. I'll feel like it would be my fault if you guys died."

"Well it won't be, Leo, you've been a major factor in our survival ever since we noclipped into the Backrooms, trust us, at least once man." Ami says.

"Yeah dude it's like a 2v1 you lost were finishing the movie."

"Make that a 3v1" Liz says.

"... Fine, but if we die or get badly beat up and get our supplies taken then don't blame me."

So we get some snacks, and finish the movie. I also drank an extra Almond Water bottle Leo had. Wait... Couldn't he have drank his bottle when he was on the floor injured? He literally could've. Well thankfully he gave me his so I guess it's a fair trade. After the movie we all took a short nap and then were getting ready to leave.

"I gotta say, I did need that." Leo says.

"I know, I know." Ami says.

"No, really, thanks, I didn't realize how much of a break I needed from all the running and hiding we've been doing."
