The creature revealed itself from the deep, inspecting the thing that grazed it's scales. It looked at you straight in the eyes, its face perfectly framed by the flaming red strands of hair enclosing it. The creature had a almost human appearance, dawning pale skin on its upper half while having a long scaly tail on its bottom. Then it clicked...

A Mermaid?!

This was the stuff of legends, there was no way that you were seeing a mermaid with your very own eyes. The mermaid continued to stare almost uttering something from its lips but stopping itself, finally ending the silence the mermaid said something.

"OooOooOOoo!"

"Excuse me! What?!" You exclaimed, gathering the attention of a certain blue haired boatswain.

"Hey Y/N! Watcha yelling at? Are there any stray pirates on board, I would gladly help you get rid of them.". At the sound of the Kaeya's voice the mermaid's face twisted from its curious gaze to a disgusted frown.

"oooOoOooO..." The mermaid sounded almost angry at the sudden appearance of your crew mate Kaeya. Shooing the mermaid away, you face your eyepatched comrade.

"Hey there Kaeya, what are you doing here late at night?" You inquired.

"Investigating the screams of my captain." Kaeya said mockingly.

"Temporary capta-"

Kaeya sneered "Yes I know, I know but who were you talking to? I hope it wasn't yourself because that would prove my suspicions for you going mad on this voyage."

You stared at Kaeya contemplating his words, are your really going mad? Did you drink sea water? You were just "speaking" with a mermaid. After pondering for sometime you decide to give him an answer. "Yeah, maybe a minute ago, I thought I saw a mermaid..."

"A mermaid? He...he- What a funny little discovery there. Lay off the booze the next time you sulk at your disappointments, buh bye."

His reaction was almost too smooth, he seemed nervous... almost like he knew more about this mermaid.

The sun rose to a clear sky as the crew of the "Knight of Favonius" was fully assembled. They scurried around the ship like ants in their colonies, working like cogs in a grandfather clock. Kaeya on the other hand sat lazily in the ship's kitchen, chugging down a bottle of undisclosed contents. The blue haired man sat there sighing to himself saying "keeps my land legs, gets rid of my gills...".

Rummaging through the kitchen's abundance of cabinets, Kaeya finally reached his stash. Moving aside several bottles of spices and cans of preserves, Kaeya's typically smug smirk fades from his face.

"Th-that was my last bottle and we're too far out in the sea to dock- shit! Well I just have to hope that Lisa can help... Archons! Why did I have to run out now!"

"Why did you have to run out of what?" The loud creaks of the kitchen's heavy metal door alerted Kaeya to his behind, it was Lisa.

"What's wrong Kaeya? You seem to be troubled?" Asked Lisa as she walked towards a distressed Kaeya.

"I ran out of the "juice"."

Lisa broke a large smirk from her lips "Oh, you mean that juice."

Chuckling Lisa walked towards the bottle on the floor "I think I can remake this but its gonna cost you some mora..."
