9. An early start

Sorry I haven't uploaded anything in a while, been really busy with school and everything. Hope you like this one, will try and update at least once a week from now on, dont be a silent reader and comment, oh and vote... Happy Reading :)

Olly’s POV

*Beep, beep, beep, beep*

I rolled over and smacked the alarm; it was 1:00. I turned over to Rosie.

“Babe. We gotta get up it’s 1:00, we need to leave in an hour.” I said.

“Shh, 2 more minutes babe.” She said rolling over.

“Okay, I’ll take everything downstairs, are you sure you’ve packed everything?” I asked her.

“Yeah, I checked last night, got it all packed.” She winked at me starting to get out of bed. “Just gotta get my hand luggage sorted now, but that shouldn’t take long most of it’s in my suitcase.”

“Yeah I can feel it, it’s bloody heavy.” I chuckled. I picked up our suitcases and made my way downstairs. I walked into the living room to grab my passport, phone, keys, wallet and tickets. The kitchen light was on so I suspected someone was up.

“Alright?” I said into the kitchen.

“Tired that’s all” came Niall’s voice.

“Me too mate, Jess still upstairs?” I asked him sitting down on the seat opposite him.

“Yeah, we’ve been up all night talking, she’s in bits mate, I mean, one minute it’s alright and then she’ll just start to cry, I’d say it’s hormones… if her dad wasn’t on deaths door.”

“Yeah I understand, if anything changes though, you have to text me, I literally mean anything, if he goes into a coma or he… well… you know.” I told Niall.

“Yeah, I know, and don’t worry I will, and I’m sure Jess will ring Rosie as well” he clarified. I heard someone coming down the stairs.

“Rosie?” I said

“No it’s Jess.” She replied.

“Hey baby, you okay?” Niall asked her. Jess’s eyes were puffy and red, she looked awful, well I guess awful was a little bad but still, what else would she be like, her dad was gonna die in the next week. She wore her pink fluffy dressing gown and had Niall’s shirt on underneath.

“Yeah, needed a drink of water, and wanted to wave Rosie and Olly off too.” She said sitting on Niall’s knee.

“We’ll be off in about 10 if Rosie hurries her backside up.” I looked at the time on my phone. “I’ll be back in a minute guys gonna go see what’s keeping Rosie.” I told them. I got up and walked upstairs, I opened the bedroom door and Rosie was packing her hand luggage. “Alright baby?”

“Yeah, just checking I have everything. Do you want me to put your stuff in here too?” she asked me.

“Erm, yeah please babe, here you go.” I said handing her my passport, wallet and our tickets. She put them in a side pocket of her bag and zipped it all up. “Jess and Niall are downstairs, they wanted to wave us off.” I told her.

“Yeah Jess just came in here a sec ago.”

“Ah right.” My phone buzzed in my pocket.

Outside the house, you ready to go?

Yeah, be 5 minutes, just gotta say bye to Jess and Niall.

Olly x

“Who was that?” Rosie asked.

“Sarah, she’s outside in the car.” I told her, she smiled and took my hand, her bag in the other. She looked up at me, I looked back and smiled at her kissing her forehead, I took her bag and we went downstairs.

“So you’re going then.” Niall chuckled.

“Yup, we are, will be nice to have a break, been working so hard haha.” Rosie said, she walked over to Jess and gave her a massive hug.

*Knock, Knock*

“That’ll be Sarah, come on hun, I’ll put the bags in the car.” I said leaving Rosie and Jess in the hallway. Niall picked up Rosie’s suitcase and followed me outside.

“Fuck, what she got in here?” he commented.

“Haven’t a clue mate, you know what girls are like, they’d pack the kitchen sink if they could.” We both laughed.

“Is that everything then?” Sarah asked me getting out of the car.

“Um, yeah, everything except for Rosie, she’s just saying bye to Jess.” I told her.

“Come one, you best hurry up, we gotta leave Olly.” she told me. I walked back inside, and found Rosie; she was putting her shoes and coat on.

“You ready to go, everything’s packed in the car.” I said to her.

“Yeah, I’ll go get in.” she told me. She left.

“Bye Olly, I’ll see you soon.” Jess said.

“Bye Jess, good luck with Trev, I told Niall that we’ll be here for you if anything happens, just call and we’ll be on the first plane back.” I said giving her a hug.

“Cheers Olly, appreciate It.” I smiled at her and walked out of the house. She stood in the doorway and Niall walked past me.

“See ya mate.” I said giving him a pat on the back.

“Innabit Olly.” he replied walking up to Jess and putting his arm around her waist. I got into the car and waved at them both. We drove off.

“This is it babe, our fist holiday together, let’s hope it’ll be the first of many.” I said turning to Rosie, she looked up at me her head against my shoulder.

“Exactly. One of many.” She smiled and leaned up to kiss me. He cold lips touched mine and I smiled. She snuggled down into me and fell asleep; I leaned my head on hers and closed my eyes.

This time tomorrow we’d be in sunny Barbados
