-What do you want to buy Eva?

-I don't know yet. -She said thoughtfully- I think maybe some woollen jumpers... Oh and some trousers, I need trousers.

-Okay, let's see what we can find.

They entered the mall and went straight to the shops.

-Eva, look at this jumper.

-It's cute. -She said picking up the ralph lauren jumper.

-Do you think so? Oh it's really cute, here you go honey.

They continued from the shop, and one thing that they were different is simply the fact that Eva's mother was crazy about shopping, buying clothes was her favorite thing to do, while Eva preferred to buy books.

They left the mall with lots of clothes, it was normal Eva was already used to that situation, half of those clothes went to change and what her mother didn't want went to her.

-I love these sales.

-Me too. -Eva admitted.

X

-Everything was on sale! Ralph Lauren 50%, Tommy 50%, Gant 50%, Burberry 50%.

-Yes mum I saw it. -Eva said laughing at her mother's excitement.

They arrived home and Eva's father had already arrived.

-My crazy shoppers have arrived!

-Paul please help me here. -Eve's mum said trying to open the door.

-What did you buy? The whole mall?

-Less Paul, I bought clothes for you...

-Uh! -I'll be right over.

The next thing they knew, the Torres family's big living room was full of clothes.

Whenever they bought clothes there was always the moment when they showed everything to Eva's father.

-That's a beautiful jumper, Eva! -Mr.Torres said.

-It is, isn't it? -Mr. Torres said.

-I like it.

-My daughter will look so beautiful this winter!

That made Eva smile.

-Well, I'm going to ask Lorraine to wash all these clothes later, and I need to warn her because these knits can't be washed with the rest of the laundry.

Lorraine, the Torres family maid, was a sweetheart and had great patience for Eva's mother, who was also a sweetheart but was a bit of a perfectionist.

-Well I'm going to my room. -Eva said finally.

But as she was walking up the stairs she heard the doorbell.

-Who can it be at this hour? -Mrs.Torres asked.

-Who do you think is Mary? -Eve's father said asking a rhetorical question.

-Hello, Dylan! -Mrs.Torres said. -Come in, come in! We've got a warm house!

-Hello, Mrs. And Mr. Torres, how are you?

-We're very, very well.

-Dylan! -Eva said realizing it was Dylan who was on the door.

-I guess he didn't come to see his parents-in-laws.  -Eve's father said, looking past his daughter as she hurried down the stairs.

-Dylan! -She said again and then she jumped towards Dylan's arms.

-I was a little offended, I thought we were more important than her. -Eve's mother said ironically.

-Can we go upstairs? -Eva asked.

-Of course. Dylan will you have dinner here?

-I guess I can't refuse such an offer, can I?! -Dylan said, placing a kiss on Eva's cheek.

But before she could change Dylan filled her with kisses.

-Is this all longing?

-Maybe...

-I really like your longings, but I need to change clothes for dinner.

-Okay,pretty girl.

-Don't call me pretty girl. -Eva said pulling out some trousers and a sweatshirt.

Dylan was a surrendered man.

As Eva got dressed ,Dylan watched her like she was the finest painting, the most delicate sculpture itself.

Dylan most of all loved her.

-Okay, now we can go back. -Eva said as she finished putting on her sweat, jumping into Dylan's lap.

-Okay. -Dylan said happily.

After many kisses, Dylan stopped and asked:

-How did the shopping go?

-Good. You know how my mum is. She bought lots of clothes for me, for my dad and for her of course.-And I can't see it?

-You can, but only when I'm wearing them.

-And can I take them off afterwards? -Yes.

-I don't know. -she said teasingly.

They continued talking until it was time for dinner.

-What's for dinner? -Eva asked.

- turkey with potatoes made by me! -Mrs. Torres said.

-It must be delicious.

They all sat down at the table to eat.

-Dylan how is school going?

-It's better than last year. I also have to thank your beautiful daughter for her intelligence, otherwise I don't think I could do it.

-Dylan, you are smart! You're just lazy... too lazy. -Eva scolded.

-That too. -he said making everyone laugh.

They continued their conversation for a while.

They asked the two teenagers some normal questions.

They laughed a lot too.

And they laughed even more when Eva when pouring water to Dylan got him all wet because she got out of focus and commented in his ear:

-I'm glad I love you. -Dyan said in her ear leaving her blushing.

To be continued...
