almost an hour later. Mugman and Chalice made the decision to return to There's place. Her and Mugman struck into a conversation. Chalice came to like Mugman since he seemed interesting and chatted about his plans the next day and the book he was reading.(like him as a friend) Mugman almost completely forgot about Cuphead's peculiar behavior. As he grew to really like having a conversation with his brother after a while. Usually, his brother doesn't seem to bother his plans or books. Unless it was a risky or "cool". Chalice was content simply to feel like she had a friend. However, Chalice did feel somewhat guilty for lying and posing as Mugman's brother.

When Mugman and Chalice got home. Cuphead bumped into Chalice telling her to go back into the bathroom. She sighed as she told Mugman she Would be back. As she walked up the stairs Cupheads Ghost floated in front of her in a hurry. Once she entered the bathroom and shut the door Cuphead got in her face.

"Look, i don't know how ok?"

Chalice said, to be honest, She didn't want to leave. Cuphead just looked at her with an angry expression.

"Could you at least TRY?"

To be honest, she never tried since she didn't want to go. The only thing Cuphead did was give her an irritated stare.

"..what if i don't want to leave."

Chalice said not making eye contact to Cuphead. She knew he would be upset by this. Cuphead just Face palmed his face. Pulling his face in a cartoony way. Chalice was still staring at the Mirror. She felt her self touch her handle. Cupheads head only had one handle while hers had two. or at least she used to. She had a permanent sense of embarrassment over her broken handle However, that was unnecessary now that she was inside Cuphead's body. He had his handle in tip-top shape.

Chalice closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. Her body began to feel lighter as a result. as she took another breath of air. She experienced a loss of surrounding air. She could no longer breathe at all. She opened her eyes to find herself in ghost form once more. She had succeeded in leaving the cup's body. She noticed Cuphead's body rising as she turned to look at it. He had returned to himself. Chaliced signed as she went to float out of the bathroom.

"Wait!"

Chalice turned around as Cuphead spoke, staring right at her. Cuphead could see her still? Chalice looked at Cuphead with a sad yet bewiled expression.

"look, I'm sorry about.. taking your body.."

Chalice spoke while gazing at the floor. Arm-rubbing herself. Cuphead simply moved toward Chalice while he sighed.

"its alright.. I'm sorry for acting the way I was. I wasn't being my self. I was just confused really"

As he raised his head to look at chalice, Cuphead responded. He grinned slightly at her. Chalice felt her self blush a little bit before shaking her head.

"its not a big deal.. i understand. i would be confused to.. but i should get going.."

Chalice passed through the door as Cuphead stood motionless. He remained motionless for a brief moment before opening the door and shaking his head. He didn't want Chalice to leave. She wasn't there when he opened the door and searched the hallway from top to bottom. "Chalice?? CHALICE??" Cuphead began to yell. hoping she'd return. Mugman was the only one who managed to hear him. Running up the stairs, Mugman glanced bewildered at his brother.

"Chalice?? who- what-? is everything ok?"

  Mugman spoke as he cast a perplexed and anxious glance at his brother. Cuphead turned to face his brother. Before approaching Mugman, he turned to look behind him. As he moved, as he approached Mugman, he sighed and turned to face his brother. 

"There's something I needa tell you.."
