Let's have 'The Talk'

After a couple of minutes of looking around, Logan still hadn't come out of his room.

Peter had just finished walking the house. With the last room he had checked, he had been confident that Logan was still changing his clothes. Just as Peter was about to knock on Logan's door, Logan suddenly threw open the door. He was now wearing a black t-shirt and some jeans that seemed to be a couple sizes too big for him. His feet were inside a pair of large boots that had what looked like a spider on them.

Logan's room was rather basic. Again, the walls were covered in posters, mostly of Spider-Man and the other heroes Logan appeared to have taken a liking to. Peter was certain he had found someone just as geeky as himself.

Peter had a slight smile on his face, but inside him was fear that Logan probably knew that he was Spider-Man. However, he had already decided that Logan was a cool guy. After a quick glance at the room, Peter had decided he would ask about Logan's boots later. He had found that Logan was quite interested in them.

Logan would jump back, not expecting Peter to come into his room. "Jeez, Parker! Knock before you barge in." Logan was also unconsciously blushing.

Peter hadn't meant to startle Logan, and felt bad about bursting in on him. In his defense though, the door wasn't closed. In addition to that, he was surprised that Logan appeared to be blushing. "My bad, man. You can do that to me too. I won't be offended. Anyway, what's up with the boots? They look pretty cool."

"Oh these?" Logan would look at his boots. "I got them at a nearby thrift store. Dude gave me $10 for these."

Peter was a bit surprised to find out that Logan had gotten the boots for so cheap. To him they looked like they were very valuable. "Wait, $10? Those things look like they're worth a lot. I mean, look at this." Peter then pointed to the giant spider on Logan's boots. "That thing looks like it's alive."

"The spider's fake, Peter. You should know that by now." Logan jokingly rolled his eyes at Peter.

Peter chuckled to himself and began to relax. He liked Logan's sense of humor. It made him feel a little more comfortable with Logan than he normally would have been with someone he had just met. It also made him wonder if Logan had any friends. Most people he knew who were as geeky as Logan usually didn't. Peter had once been one of those people himself, but had grown more comfortable about who he was and had started making a lot of friends.

Logan began to blush even more. "Hey, Peter?"

Peter, being very bad at reading a room, was oblivious to Logan's blushing. "Yeah?" Peter asked. After a moment's pause he had remembered how Logan had said "dude" earlier when they had been talking about the thrift store. Suddenly Peter wondered if Logan was like him, a nerd who felt different than other people. He was also surprised to see that Logan never said what he was going to say before.

"Can I tell you a secret?" Logan was really bad at hiding his emotions.

Peter was pretty sure now that Logan had never had a lot of friends. He felt that he wanted to help Logan make friends with him and make him feel more comfortable around other people. This was also partly due to Peter and Logan getting along so well, and as well as Pete just being a nice guy. "Yeah, Logan, you can tell me anything you want."

"I-I...um......have a crush on you..." Logan hid his face in his hands in embarrassment. "W-What I'm saying is....I like you..."

Peter was a bit shocked by the fact that Logan had actually just said that. He had wanted to help Logan come out of his shell, but he wasn't expecting this. However, Peter had also felt the slight connection between the two of them. He had begun to find Logan as attractive as he found him. Peter had started blush as well but wasn't sure how he should respond.

"P-Please don't tell anyone...I don't want them to h-hurt me..." Logan was really scared. Should he really have said all these things to Peter?

Peter noticed that Logan had begun to tear up and felt a bit guilty about it himself. "Hey, I won't tell anyone, Logan, I promise. And to be honest...I also kind of have a crush on you too."

Peter wondered what Logan's reaction would be after hearing that. He had found Logan's honesty as refreshing. He was beginning to develop strong feelings for him.

"W-Wait, really? W-What about MJ?" Logan asked, surprised to hear this from Peter.

Peter chuckled. It might have been a slight coincidence that Peter had a crush on both MJ and Logan. If he was being honest with himself, his crush on MJ had started to dwindle down. Logan's honesty had made him start to doubt his feelings for MJ. 'Uh, I mean she's cool and I like her, but I kind of feel like she's starting to fall out with me. Also, I kinda like you more.'
