"You really mean that?" Logan pried in-between sniffles.

Peter was glad that Logan believed him. Peter felt that Logan was very kind and would be just as good, if not a little bit better, than MJ would be if a relationship were to blossom. He also just really liked Logan's personality. Peter had grown up with a father that rarely showed emotion and had made some very poor choices and a mother that had died when Pete was young. Being around Logan seemed to give him something that he had both missed and been craving. "Yes, I do. I really do like you."

"T-Thanks for telling me that. You're the sniff first person to say that to me..." Logan opened up.

Peter felt that Logan needed some sort of hug. He had begun to feel bad for Logan after he had said that. Peter had also developed a massive crush on him after having such sincere conversations. Peter had grown to like Logan very much, very quickly. After a moment's hesitation, he had gotten up and had pulled Logan into his arms, giving him a hug.

Logan hugged him back, crying into his arms.

Peter knew that he had made the right choice. He had never been the biggest person on hugs, but he could certainly get used to this. His feelings were quickly growing. He was beginning to see a future with Logan, and wasn't afraid anymore. For the first time, he actually had something to look forward to in his life!

After a few minutes of hugging and consoling, Logan broke the silence by asking, "Peter?"

Peter was still hugging Logan. He had grown to think that Logan was very handsome, but didn't want to make Logan feel weird by saying it just then. Peter was in a dilemma. On one hand, it wouldn't stop being true, so Peter thought that it wasn't wrong to tell Logan that he was handsome. On the other hand, Peter had never said that to another guy. After taking a moment, Peter slowly let go of Logan. He was still very close and was trying to work up the courage to speak to Logan.

After a brief moment of silence and staring into each other's eyes, Peter had decided to take the plunge. After all, he didn't know what would happen if he didn't. He had been so used to making the best of the worst for his life, that he felt it necessary to make it count. "Logan, I really like you A LOT."

"I do too, but...are you gonna tell the Avengers?" Logan replied.

Peter chuckled lightly at the joke, at least he thought it was. The idea of him telling the Avengers about his love life was very funny to Peter. He wondered though, if Logan had joked about him telling the Avengers because he thought that Peter only saw him as a friend. Then, on top of that, a question formed within Peter: What would happen if he actually told the Avengers about the fact that he had a crush on someone, let alone another boy? Heck they knew about MJ and Peter, so why would they care about his relationship with another guy?

Then, as much as Peter dreaded to admit it, he would get into so much trouble if he even attempted to tell the Avengers. He would be kicked out of their group, and that would not end well for him. Would the Avengers even let him be their friend now that he had a crush on someone? Would they make fun of him? Would they not care?

"Peter?"

Peter decided that he would answer Logan's question instead of dwelling on his own existential crisis. After spending some time thinking of a way to answer his question that wasn't very awkward. In the end, the best option, in his opinion, was just to tell the truth. Peter had learned that being honest was often the quickest and best way of getting through things, and he was beginning to enjoy being this close with someone else. "Yeah, Logan?"

"Are you?" Logan implored, wanting an answer.

The way Logan had asked him that question had made Peter's heart start beating fast. He didn't know what to expect. How would Logan respond? What would Logan say afterwards? The moment felt like an eternity and suddenly Peter was very, very, nervous. It was very obvious that Logan liked him, and that was all he wanted. "Yes. I am."

"Want me to make a chatroom so you can tell everyone?" To be honest, Logan was also gay, but too scared to tell anyone.

The idea of them making their relationship public knowledge was very scary to Peter. Sure, Logan was right, but what if people responded negatively? What if people called them a "freak" like they did to him when he was just a nerdy kid just trying to fit in? Would people believe him? Would he be able to live with being mocked all over again? These questions swirled around a bit in his head. It was a big shock, but he had grown the courage to take this leap of faith.

After a few seconds of pondering, Peter had made up his mind. He was going to come out publicly. He would do it the same day as Logan and his relationship and it would be the best day of his life. He still wasn't very sure why he was so confident about this decision, but he knew that he wanted to do it. He wanted to do this. "Yeah, let's do it!"

"Alright, I'll invite the Avengers." Logan would get up from off the bed, grab his phone, and start texting all of the Avengers about coming together for a special meeting.

Peter felt a sudden burst of energy. He had felt like he had been holding something back for a long time, and had felt like he was about to explode for a while. He was glad he was about to be free of this burden that he had been carrying for so long.

After 10 minutes of texting, Logan had invited all of them and made a chatroom, he had also sent Peter an invite on his own phone.
