"What are you doing today?" Barnes asked as he lay playing with Lauries hair.
"Screwing you I hope" she giggled. "But if you wanted you could come out on the Good Intention with me today?" Wordlessly Bucky nodded and began kissing her again.

"Why's she called the Good Intention?" Sam asked as Gracie sat on the bed drying her hair.
"Because the world should be full of people striving to do better. Our dad was her skipper and when he died Laurie sold her business and brought her. Laurie loved her computer geek business but she sold it when the island came up and just paid cash for the entire place. She found out about me and dragged me here. She could have just ignored her half sister but she took me in. I didn't find out she had put some of it in my name until much later but I'm grateful. This place calmed me down and made me sane. Laurie made me sane, I would do anything for her." As she spoke Gracie recited the agreed story and as Sam touched the tattoo on her ribs she giggled lightly.
"Army?" He asked and she nodded.
"Laurie is the brains of the operation and I'm the muscle. She acts tough but she's very fragile I have to protect her." Gracie arched as his hands ran across her body and she leaned in to kiss him.
"Then maybe Buckys not the best person for her to get involved with" Sam mused, sighing he lent into the kiss laying her gently in the bunk. Just as they started moving together they heard a wrapping in the side of the boat and the sounds of people moving on deck. Reluctantly both pulled clothes on and moved up onto the deck. Watching as Laurie pulled Barnes aboard and began checking the boats sea worthiness.
"The four of us should go for a sail" Laurie announced " we need to be way off shore" Obediently but slightly puzzled by the urgency in her voice Gracie started to help her and less than half an hour later they were motoring out of the bay heading for international waters.
"Buck what's going on?" Sam asked cautiously seeing how twitchy his friend was.
"We were attacked on the way back from the game last night." He explained quietly "I was loosing and she saved me Sam. Somehow she killed two of them and I was able to deal with the rest. I dropped them into the sea off of the cliff behind the bar. She's not as tough as she looks but she was amazing last night."
"Her sister is going to kill you" Sam sighed shaking his head and moving to the two girls who were standing in the wheel house. "Are you ok?" He demanded and Laurie just nodded.
"I can't believe you survived that" Gracie watched her sister with a measured expression. Very carefully she raised her t shirt and swore at the bruise in her abdomen. "You could have died."
"Don't" she began as Gracie turned her attention to Bucky, a look of fury in her face as she punched him squarely on the jaw.
"What were you thinking getting her into that situation?" She demanded and went to punch him again only this time Bucky stopped
her fist with his metal hand.
"You get one" He told her coldly. "Sam?" Instantly Wilson stepped in front of Gracie and took hold of her pulling her into a hug.
"Calm down" he began as Laurie ran a hand over Barnes face where her sister had hit him.
"Gracie stop" Laurie ordered and her sister stilled "It was horrible but Barnes saved my life. He didn't put me in that situation Swaro did. If you want to be pissed at anyone it should be him." Lauries words were pleading. She hated this situation but she didn't have a choice.
"Why do you say Swaro? Sam asked curiously.
"Who else could it be? Gracie sighed looking at her sister.

"By the way does Steve know you two hooked up?" Sam asked as he walked with Barnes back to the villa which now seemed to have a large construction crew working on it.
"I don't know but" Bucky shrugged "please don't call this a 'hook up' I texted him this morning asking him to get Wanda here. There's something wrong with Laurie, it's like she's two different people. Her sister says she's fragile but there's a steel core in there. Not many people would put up the fight she did yesterday. She might have been on the floor but she took a gun off of a killer. He should have been able to handle someone as "fragile" as Laurie is. This morning she woke up and didn't recognise me or her own name. Sound familiar?" As they entered he motioned towards Steve who was helping their housekeeper carry bags inside. Laurie had told him this morning she was sending someone to help tidy up the villa and supervise the contractors. Steve hadn't been expecting a long legged blonde in tiny shorts who looked at him like she was laughing at him, but he quite liked it. Bucky had quietly promised to distract Laurie in the condition he got Wanda here as soon as he could.

"So Captain Rogers Laurie tells me you can paddle board?" Estelle smiled as she fished out her keys for the bike store and let him inside. She laughed loudly at the sigh that escaped when he saw the vintage bike Laurie had parked inside it. "Give me a minute" Estelle grabbed her phone and fired off a text. A moment later her phone pinged and she just offered him the keys. She had the go ahead to start removing obstacles and she was planning on taking this one out first.
"I had one of these in the Second World War" he smirked as she settled on the bike behind him and wrapped her hands around his middle.

Laurie sat in her rigging pretending to fix a rope but she had climbed up to get away from Barnes and her sister. What ever had happened between them it was too fast. Gracie had often told her there was a connection between death and sex she just hadn't realised it was so strong. From her vantage point she could see the dolphins entering the bay and on a whim she stood up and slowly walked to the end of the masts arm. Below her she could hear Gracie yelling no but she simply stepped off the end diving into the water. They were far enough out that she wouldn't hit the bottom but it was a risky dive and it did wind her but as the dolphins swam anxiously around her. The boys leader began pushing her gently to the surface and guiding her back to the boat.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Gracie raged and Laurie just shook her head allowing her to wrap a towel around her.
"I don't know" she replied lamely. "It seemed a good idea at the time?"
"We're going back to shore"Bucky glared at her leaving Laurie feeling slightly scared about her decision to step off the mast and Barnes reaction. As she steered the boat back to the dock she could feel his eyes on her. When they entered the harbour he finally came and stood behind her wrapping her in his arms burying his face in her hair.
"Don't ever do that to me again Doll. I thought you weren't coming back up." Laurie just continued to steer the vessel and ignore her hearts hammering beat as she unconsciously lent back into him.

"Glad you're here Maximoff" Barnes sat heavily next to the young witch. "I need you to check someone. It's Laurie. I think she could be a winter soldier " he explained.
" Could be why you find her so compelling" Steve sighed. He had been about to head out in the bike with Estelle when Stark had called a meeting and the Avengers were all standing on the cliff top away from the house full of contractors.
"Loki and I can look into her mind and see what's going on if you want us to" Wanda shifted uncomfortably. She had broken off her own holiday to answer Steve's summons and she didn't like what Barnes was telling her.
