I'm not sure where this story is going, I haven't really made up my mind whether it's going to be a fun read or slightly worrying but we will see where it takes us! Please comment if you have something constructive to say otherwise leave me to my delusions.

This is a short part to just introduce some characters

Laurie Jones watched as the two jet skis zoomed through the lagoon, using her boat as their marker.  Standing on the deck she felt the boat rock from their bow waves. Involuntarily she placed a hand in the rails staring at the men as the second skis occupants waved at her. For a moment she paused to see if the sudden rocking woke any of her remaining crew and when she didn't hear anything she moved to the stern and lowered her paddle board into the water and headed for the shore. Twenty minutes later she was in the sleepy little islands only shop picking up eggs for the crews breakfast. Their first trip had been so successful she wanted to thank them for their hard work. The majority were leaving for pastures new later in the day and it would be a year before they repeated the cruise but every single one had committed to coming back in the following year.
Placing a ruck sack on her back she headed out for the boat enjoying the peace and quiet as she paddled. Laughing as the dolphins circled her playfully. As the lead porpoise swam around the front of her board she stopped paddling and watched. The sudden roar of the jet skis return sent the dolphins diving.  Laurie braced herself as she was less than ten meters from the boat when the bow wave hit her. The wave knocked into her board and Laurie felt her head collide with the board and then nothing.

"Dam!" Wilson gasped as he saw the results of Clint's reckless driving of the jet ski. Bucky turned their craft and they sped to the paddle border who hadn't surfaced. Wilson diving from the moving ski into the water. He dove downwards  through the clear water as fast as he was able as he could see the unconscious woman being slowly dragged downwards by the bag on her back.  Around her three dolphins tried unsuccessfully to push her upwards. They had managed to stop her sinking to the bottom completely. One swam dangerously close to him and he just missed it's head as he grabbed onto her ankle and began pulling her. Once he had hold of her he pulled her upright and unsuccessfully tried to remove the pack from her back. Quickly he pulled out the knife Bucky had taught him to carry at all times and sliced the bag away and kicking hard he took her back to the surface. The dolphins still trying to help. As he broke the surface gasping at the fresh salty air he saw a dingy moving towards them from the boat.
In the water another man swam towards them, having dived in from the boat.?He was relieved to feel a strong pair of hands pulling her from his grasp and another pair helped the swimmer boost him into the solid dingy.
"You ok man?" A tall curly haired woman asked and Wilson knew he was in love. Sam blinked taking in her green eyes and caramel coloured skin. She was wearing a t shirt and what looked like cycling shorts.  "Kirk she's not breathing" she announced suddenly, a slight edge in her voice as she returned her attention to the drowned woman. Pulling the woman into her arms she carefully laid her flat on the dingy wooden seat. Once Laurie was flat she began CPR. Moments later the second man took over telling her to get them moving for the boat as Laurie began coughing and struggling to sit up. Gracie simply put the boat into gear and headed for The Good Intention and her crew amongst which he knew there was a doctor.

"What the fuck Laurie?" Jake groaned as he saw the state of his  captain.
"Some twat on a ski" Kirk raged glaring meaningfully at Wilson as he tied the dingy in place.

"This one?" Hale demanded as he checked Laurie over, his Captain batting his hands away glaring at the stranger standing with them. "Was he with you?" As he spoke threateningly Barnes pulled up next to the dingy.
"She'll be ok " Wilson said calmly and simply stepped onto the back of the ski jet and left keeping an eye on the dingys occupants as they headed back to the Villas landing.
