"Huo Shang Tian." Wu Lei glanced over to Shang Tian who had followed him from He Shan Lou to the market, "Must you follow me everywhere?"

"Of course!" Shang Tian exclaimed with full enthusiasm while secretly enjoying his annoyance.

Wu Lei stopped and Shang Tian too stopped. Wu Lei turned to his side with a firm look. "I am going to see Ya Rong."

"Perfect! I want to see her doing the Orchid Dance in private myself! It settle then, we have the same path so why should we separate?" Shang Tian replied with a mischievous smile.

Wu Lei heaved a sigh, "Shang Tian, would you please let me have a little alone time with my lover?" He asked straightforwardly. "I fear that I will have to be apart from her for a few days. At least let us have our alone time. Afterward you can follow me anywhere you want. I will still be here with the seal." When Shang Tian said nothing, Wu Lei firmly said. "I promise!"

Shang Tian crossed his arms in annoyance, With a side-eye and a tiny smirk he asked, "When did you become lovers?" Wu Lei narrowed his eyes, but Shang Tian quickly waved his hand, "Fine, fine, I'll leave you be." He turned away with head raised high before skipping away with a loud announcement, "I'm going to tell everybody about it!"

"YOU DARE!" Wu Lei shouted before scowling at Shang Tian's endless jokes. "Forget it. I don't think that rascal will dare do anything."

Ya Rong and her group of dancers performed the brilliant Orchids Dance in front of high-ranked Officials who hid their identities in masks. Stationed outside were Yi Mei's people, waiting for the perfect time to strike. They waited until they were joyfully laughing, stuffing food and drinks into their mouths without batting their eyelashes. From all levels of the Hall they came stormed in. An all-sided ambush. They killed everyone who were in their ways. Everyone of them had their throat slit. The Hall's servants too were killed off. Dancers, entertainers from the Hall screamed, scrambling out into the hallway, frantically searching for Wu jie. Wu jie ordered the Million Orchids Hall's secret guards to protect the main Orchids Suite, where Ya Rong and the elite dancers were.

Wu Lei arrived at Million Orchids Hall but was turned away by the guards. They told him that commoners and outsiders were not allow in due to the Hall having special guests. He retreated but made another attempt through the side inns. That too was blocked. Sensing something was off, he rushed to the side gate. He jumped over the wall when the guards wasn't looking. Though they inns were connected to the Hall, they each have their own back courtyard.

He was startled when he saw sprawling of dead bodies in the courtyard. In his path were more corpses. The nervousness and anxiety rushed through his body as he quickly try to locate Ya Rong. He sprinted up the stairs, and through many floors, all he saw were dead bodies. Questions ran through his mind, but he couldn't afford time and patience to think through. When he made it to the Hall's top floor, he saw the assassins at work. They fought with Wu jie's secret guards. The secret guards were no match for these assassins, they were taken down one by one. Wu Lei jumped in to help. By himself he managed to take down many. Yet, more of them dashed out of the other suites after they left no one alive.

Wu Lei ran out the balcony for an escape route, but they followed right behind him. He jumped, climbed up to the next floor from the balcony. They were right on his tail. A few were shot down by the Wind Guards that Wei Han and Xiao Tian had followed Wu Lei. Shadow Guards went in to take care of things on the lower levels while Wu Lei sprinted from floor to floor until he saw a Minister wearing an Ox mask being pulled by the hair, dragged out into the hallway. He came eye to eye with the assassin and knew right away that it was General Li from the other night.

General Li stopped in his track, and dropped the Minister on the ground. He did not know who the person standing in front of him was, but he must not live because he witnessed a massacre. He charged at Wu Lei but a dagger abruptly flew into the back of his shoulder, stopping him immediately. He looked back and felt disgusted by who it was. He was forced to retreat with his team when he saw that more guards came.
