“Thank you for asking, my name is Sunniva. I was made in the village of Timothea.” The gem glowed turquoise and pale aqua again when answering the question. They continued walking till they reached a spot where they could sit and listen.

Sophia pulled out the blankets, she put hers on the ground and put her brother’s on the rock kinda shaped like a chair.

“Hold on, I need to set up camp for tonight. You can resume your story once I properly set up camp.” She ran off toward the woods to go get wood for the fire. 10 minutes or so passed when she came back with the firewood. She pulled out the food and the matches. “Fera can you set up the fire? I’m the one who got the firewood and set up the sleeping bags.” She handed the matches and firewood to her brother.

“But Sophie, I’m too tired to do it.” He whined, throwing the stuff at her.

“What have you done to be this tired?” She looked at him with her eyebrow raised.

“I walked all the way over here with no breaks.” He said it like he accomplished something.

“So did I doofus. Now take these,” she handed him the firewood and the matches “and go set up the fire so I can make dinner.” She walked away making sure he didn’t throw them at her.

When he finally finished setting the fire she came over there and cooked some of the food they had. When they finished eating Ifera sat on his sleeping bed.

“You can continue, also I’ve heard about that village somewhere, I read it was blessed by the gods, or has objects blessed by the gods.” As she said that something clicked in her brain. “Wait if you were made in Timothea, and if things made there are blessed by gods, that means...”

“That’s right. I was blessed by a god, the god of the sun, to be exact. I was originally forged for him so he could show off my beauty to the world. I was with him for millennia, until the mortals and the other gods declared men who wore necklaces weren’t ‘manly’. So naturally he threw me away. I was flying through the air for 5 days until I landed in a pond with beautiful fish. I stayed in that pond for years, until some woman with long brown hair and green eyes planted a tree next to it. As the tree grew the pond grew along with it.” The gem glowed so many different colors it was hard to keep track of them. The siblings faced each other as they both came to the same realization.

“Soph, that tree could be the one that we are traveling to.” He stated in a serious tone. “Can I call you Sunny? Sunny, please tell us more about what happened after the tree was planted.”

“Yes you can, and I was telling the story when you rudely interrupted me,” it glowed red angrily. “Can I continue my story now? Without interruptions.” They nodded now giving their full attention.
