“How are we gonna close this portal, Ozma? Someone’s gonna notice!”A woman with white hair shouted at the smaller girl with purple hair.

“I already told you, Beda, I don’t know how to close it!” She ripped out some of her hair. “Look what you made me do, that’ll take weeks, maybe even months, for that hair to grow back!” She punched the tree, knocking down a small creature the color of wine.

“I’m sorry, but I have a feeling that something is heading our way and they are coming because of the portal. Also be a little more careful you knocked Poe off the stump.” She picked it up and walked away.

Sophia woke up to see her brother still asleep, she looked at the sky to see that it was still night. She remembered that her gran gave her a bracelet that kinda looked like Sunny, except it had a moon on it.

“Wake up, Sunny.” she whispered, pulling the necklace off her neck.

“What do you need? I was sleeping.” It sounded groggy, like a human would after it woke up.

“Do you know anything about this bracelet?” She rolled up her sleeve to reveal the silver bracelet. Then she realized that the necklace didn’t have eyes, so how would it see the bracelet.

“Oh, that’s my sister, Emis. She was for the goddess of the moon, but just like me, she was tossed out.” Sophie had so many questions for Sunny, like if the bracelet could talk, or if it turned into anything. “I’ll answer your questions in the morning, go back to sleep.”

“Alright, good night.” She put it back around her neck and went to sleep.

“This is so frustrating, why can’t I open the portal again?” the girl named Ozma whispered. Instead of them being by the tree, they were now staying in one of the buildings that the tree had crushed half of. “ Maybe it was a one way portal, that’s why we can’t go back.” She had a sad expression on her face.

“Oz, have you gotten any sleep?” The other girl, Beda asked. “That’s a dumb question, of course you haven’t.” She facepalmed. “Come over here, I’m going to make sure you sleep.” She patted the cot. Ozma blushed and covered her face.

“B-But I need to figure out how to get us back home, your mom is probably worried sick.” She said, her voice muffled from her hands on her face.

“We’ll worry about that later, right now you need to get some sleep.” She walked over to her and removed her hand from her face. She grabbed her hand and tried to lead over to the cot, but she wouldn’t budge. “You, how you get when you don’t get enough sleep. You’re already stressed enough, and when you’re stressed, you can’t think properly. If you can’t think properly, then you’ll never figure it out, so go to sleep.” This time she picked her up and slung her over her shoulder. She walked over to the cot and laid her down, then she laid down next to her and made sure she was asleep. When she made sure the purple haired girl was asleep, she fell asleep as well.

The dream shifted from the two girls, to an old man who happened to be Alden.

“What am I going to do when they get here, Thane? I’m assuming Runa sent them down here because Apollo is back.” He was sitting on his chair, petting Thane. “Should I send Eidon and Tia to go look for them and bring them here to speed up their journey?” He scratched his head, not knowing what to do. Suddenly he heard tapping on his window. It was Rin, Syrune’s messenger dove. He opened the window and took the letter off of Rin.
‘Dear Al,
I sent them, they should be on their way now. I gave them the necklace and the bracelet, you know which ones. Please send me a letter when they arrive, I want to make sure they are safe and to tell them about the jewelry.

If they don’t make it there in 3 days from now, send Eidon and Tia to help them.

Sincerely, Syrune’

“How did she know I was questioning if I should send them? Anyway, you can go back to Runa now, Rin.” He put her on the windowsill and let her fly away.

This time, when Sophia woke up, it was morning and the sun was in the sky. She got up and put away her sleeping bag.

“Wake up, you lazy bum,” She nudged him with her foot, “Its morning time, and we still have a long way to go.” He woke up and grumbled something, then got up and put his sleeping bag away.

“I’m assuming you want breakfast before we go.” She handed him a piece of bread covered with jam and a glass of water. When they finished eating, she woke up Sunny. “You can tell us the story while we travel.” Then they started walking into the forest.

They continued walking in the same direction. Sunny finished the
story simultaneous to when they found a village.
