Hallie's Pov:

Me and Aster were always hanging out with Zelle and her cousin, at first it was fun then I start to notice something... Aster doesn't interact with me much and always hangs out with Zelle's cousin...

Timeskip:

There was a school event held in a theater and I got there a bit late, I was outside the theater and I didn't know where to go so I messaged Zelle to come to pick me up and when we entered the theater I saw Zelle's cousin and Aster sitting beside each other and Zelle also happened to sit beside them so I sat beside her... a few minutes later I saw Zelle's cousin resting her head on Aster's shoulder and me and Zelle joked about it, I wouldn't admit it to their faces that I was jealous, it so happens that Saphele was also sitting beside me so I hugged her too and Zelle also rested her shoulder on me, Zelle knew that I like Aster but she couldn't really do anything about Aster and her cousin...

A few days later:

Me and Zelle were talking about how we are getting suspicious of Aster and her cousin

Hallie: I feel like they have something, what if they're lowkey?

Zelle: I don't know, plus I told her that Aster is a playboy, and yet she still interacts with him

Hallie: I bet you a dollar that they're dating

Zelle: they're probably not but they sure have chemistry

Hallie: yeah...

Zelle: what? Are you jealous?

Hallie: what!? no, I'm not! I said in defense

Their chemistry gets stronger every day... Aster chases Zelle's cousin across the hall and they would act all sweet, Aster even bought her ice cream, maybe they really are something, but then again I have no right to be jealous because after all, I'm just a classmate to him. but then again this is what happens when you fall for the playboy

They say not all love stories have a happy ending...but I hope ours end well my dearest Aster...
