She waited for him in his bed for the whole night. Light from the massive window reflects at her, she opened her eyes and realized it's already morning, she must have slept while waiting for him. He did not return, some part of her felt like she won.

It's already 9 am and her stomach starting to growl. Hmm, maybe I'll just leave this room. She walked straight to her room and grabbed the book, Rules of Seduction. An initial K.S was marked in the book. It probably belonged to someone she didn't know; she doesn't have any friends with K.S as their initials. She flipped the book and got interested in what she saw. A man can be controlled by these rules of seduction. She was about to flip another page when a knock was heard on her door.

"Lady Temari, the Lord and Ladies are waiting for you at the long table, for breakfast"

"Thank you, I'll go downstairs in a bit"

She closed the book immediately and decide to read it after.

Her heart started beating faster, the thought of facing her Lord again after their fight last night making her anxious. She still wonders where he has been last night, he might have slept with Tayuya or Shiho.

She meets them at the long table, his eyebrows were furrowed and his jaws were clenched.

"Lady Temari, please be seated.... And you're late" Tayuya said

Temari is seated at the far side of the table, far away from Shikamaru.

"Apologies for being late, we can start our breakfast now" she said in a husky voice

They were both stiff during breakfast and the tension is very apparent for both. She glanced at him, she can see the dark bags under his eyes and his hair was messier as well. Her mind starts to focus on the book she found, perhaps it'll be very helpful to use it as a weapon for this Lord. She can seduce him, get his trust, please him, and once he's defenseless and exposed she'll be able to attack him. I'll make it a natural death. She also needs to make sure that his wealth will be named under her and not to the 2 Tori. Then she can now live freely. Yeah, yeah, that'll work.

"Perhaps the Princess wanted some fruits?" He said with a mocking grin and cocked brow. He still seems irritated.

She didn't want to engage with his pettiness. She needed his trust, so she smiled at him and look at him with her softest gaze.

"Thank you, Lord Nara"

She saw his expression; he flickers his eyes like he was surprised, maybe he didn't expect her to respond. After a minute, he returned to being irritated. Perhaps the Lord could not figure out the lady's mind?

Shikamaru left the table after he ate and then walked straight to his room. Temari then looked at Shiho and Tayuya.

"Did he always do that? Leave without waiting you two?"

"That's very usual, he has a meeting to attend so he's first to leave" Tayuya answered as she starts munching the fruits.

"Then he returns at night, that's the routine here" Shiho said.

"Alright, that sounds fun. Less of him in this mansion"

Tayuya and Shiho looked at each other and giggle

"He's not that bad, he's actually good sometimes" Tayuya defends but her eyes were focused on the fruits.

"He's always giving rewards if he's in a good mood, so that's one thing we look forward" Shiho smiled at Temari

"Huh, is that so? Do you know what pleases him?"

She saw the look of the two, they were stunned by her question.

"We haven't figured that out" Shiho answered

"Yeah, I don't think there's something that pleases him. Just do what he asks you to do then you're not gonna have a problem with him"

They returned to their room and she immediately takes out the book from her wardrobe and starts reading it. She spends her whole day reading, and over time she becomes more confident in executing the words written inside. She's obsessed with winning.

It's already 6 pm and she heard his rickshaw arrive. She immediately closed the book and prepares herself.

Rule of seduction: Indirect approach – create a false sense of security

She turns around and found him walking towards her. Gahd! It worked!

"Hmm?" She acts surprised

"The flower is called freesia" he said with a crossed arm on his chest, he's wearing a Montsuki.

"Right, Freesia" She looked at him straight in his eyes and wet her lips, teasing the young Lord. She saw him gasp a little then he looked away.

"I've seen you're making yourself familiar in the Mansion"

"Yeah, it'll be my home so I want to know more.... I've seen most of it. Uhm perhaps, I should walk inside now my Lord"

"No" He grabbed her arms trying to stop her.

She turns around and looked at the young Lord "I need to apologize for what I acted last night"

"I just don't like the way you talk and you act, you need to follow my command" He said but with heavy breathing "But I think, I also need to apologize for hurting you. I didn't have much control of me last night" He scratched the back of his head.

Rule of seduction: Create angles, that appear to be desirable.

Draw your victims closer and make them hungry to possess you, you must create an aura of desirability—make them want you.

He still holding her arms so she grabs his hands with her two hands and holds them in front of her chest.

"You don't have to apologize, my Lord, I'm the one who's at fault" She could feel his hand becoming sweatier and it becomes warmer. So, she strikes him with her most seductive gaze. He immediately pulls his hands.

He clears his throat "Let's have supper then"

She giggles, I love this game.
