"It's really pouring now." Taylor said looking out the window to see dark cloudy and the rain and window get stronger by the hour.
It's been raining all day and you both didn't realize how bad this storm will be.
"Do you think the power will go out?" You asked.
"I hope not. I don't know if we have any batteries." Taylor said.
"Let's find them just in case." You said and you and Taylor went to look in the garage and closets for them.
As you walk out with some flashlights and batteries you noticed water on the wooden floor and you accidentally stepped into it.
"Oh shit." You cursed
"What?! What happened?" Taylor asked
You realize how much water is on the floor now. The floor is completely covered in water.
Fuck where is this water coming from?
"There is a lot of water on the floor! I think we might have a leak somewhere!!" You shouted.
You hear footsteps and Taylor comes into the room and cursed as well.
"Fuck my socks are all wet. Oh my god the floor is covered in water!! Where is it coming from?" Taylor asked.
"I don't know! The windows look fine." You said as you looked over by the windows but you couldn't find any cracks or water on the walls.
"What about the ceiling?" Taylor asked looking up.
You both looked at the ceiling for twenty minutes until you finally see where the water is coming from, "Look right there in the corner of the living room!"
"Shit it's too high for both of us to reach it. And I don't know if we will be able to fix it tonight and with this storm." Taylor said.
"We have to put buckets down and towels to try to catch the water." You said.
You and Taylor put a giant bucket underneath the crack and towels underneath the bucket and floor to try to stop as much water as you could and put down other giant beach towels to soak up the water on the floor.
"How about we sleep out here in the living room for tonight to switch out new towels and see if any more water comes in?" Taylor asked.
"We might as well. And it's getting late." You said.
"This is going to be a long night." Taylor said.
