So the first actual chapter. YAY. I'm speed-writing this before I lose focus because this is just one of my many hyper-fixations. So updates will most likely be random. But I will stick with it if you guys do.

It's been 4 years since that fateful day. The doctor was right, with hours and hours of physical therapy I can sometimes move my legs for a couple of minutes. In those minutes I would walk around using my forearm crutches. But most of the time I'm stuck rolling around in my wheelchair.

And now I have to move. My parent thought that I needed a new start, in a new house, in a new town, in a new school.

So now I'm packing all my life in tiny boxes and stacking them on my bed. My sewing machine and fabrics are in one box. Art supplies in another. Some old camping stuff my grandpa had bought me that I had stuffed in the back of my closet after the accident was in another. And a suitcase with five pairs of clothes, pajamas, as well as clothes for unpredicted weather. everything else had already been packed into the moving van. I was almost finished packing, I just needed to put my crutches next to everything so I don't forget them and shove all my medication into a bag.

Doing one last look over to make sure I didn't forget anything, I noticed something peeking out from behind my dresser. I rolled over and pull it out to find an old Pokémon card holder.
Nostalgia fills me as I flip through the few cards I have. I used to be so passionate about Pokémon but after the accident, I pushed it aside to wallow in self-pity.

How I wished I could be there, meeting all the Pokémon. Being free from everything that has happened and is expected of me in this world and joining theirs. I would love to be a pokemon healer or professor. maybe even have a goal of completing the Pokedex. I don't know if I would like to fight the pokemon gyms. watching pokemon fight purely for the entertainment of people doesn't sound very appealing.

as I go to set the holder into one of my boxes, I accidentally drop it. as I reach down to pick it up, I jump back in surprise as the book opens by itself and started flipping through the pages. eventually, it lands on my full diamond holo card of Arceus, the pokemon god. I stare in muted horror as the card started glowing an ethereal blue color before exploding outwards blinding me. I lean back in surprise, in the process tipping over my wheelchair and falling backward hitting the rim of my bed.  everything blurs before turning black.

the bright sun blared onto my face, slowly waking me up. I looked around disoriented to find to my utter disbelief and horror that I was no longer in my room, but in the middle of a clearing in a forest.

my wheelchair was tipped over right next to me and my moving boxes were scattered around the clearing. I must be dreaming, I haven't been in any forest since the accident. I tried pinching myself to wake up. "ow, fuck" I cringe in pain. that can't be right, that hurt it wasn't supposed to hurt, it was supposed to wake me up. that means I wasn't sleeping, I really was in a forest.

"hello is anyone there" I call out. someone had to be around, how else would I have gotten here, I couldn't be alone out here....right.

I twist around when I heard the bushes behind me rustle. both excited not to be alone and terrified of who or what it could be.

out of the tall grass came a worm-like creature that was mainly green, but with a tan underside. it had four tiny legs and a red 'Y-shapes' antenna on top of its head. "cat caterpie" it said as it crawled over one of my boxes.

I stare in disbelief. there is no way. I was going insane for sure. I would think I was dreaming but I already disproved that theory. there in front of my own eyes was a caterpie one of the most common pokemon in the Kanto region. A CATERPIE was crawling on one of my boxes.
