Part 3: Memories

Scene 13:

[Darth Maul and Rey are walking back to their home, their hands clasped together. They are smiling and talking, both of them feeling happy and content.]

Rey: [Smiles up at Darth Maul] That was so much fun, Darth Maul. Thank you for taking me to Baskin Robbins and for eating ice cream with me.

Darth Maul: [Smirks] It was my pleasure, Rey. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. And I'm glad we got to spend some quality time together.

Rey: [Nods, her eyes shining with happiness] Me too, Darth Maul. I love spending time with you. You're like the dad I never had.

Darth Maul: [Smiles, his eyes filled with emotion] I love spending time with you too, Rey. You are the daughter I never had, and I am grateful to have you in my life.

[They reach their home, and Darth Maul unlocks the door. They step inside, and Rey immediately heads towards the bathroom.]

Rey: [Calls out to Darth Maul] I'm going to take a shower and get changed. I'll be out in a bit.

Darth Maul: [Nods] Alright, Rey. I'll be in the living room. [Watches Rey disappear into the bathroom, then heads towards the living room himself]

[Once in the living room, Darth Maul sits down on the couch and looks around. His eyes land on an old chest in the corner of the room, and he gets up and walks over to it. He opens the chest and looks inside, his eyes filled with memories.]

Darth Maul: [Quietly, to himself] This chest... it's full of memories from my past. Memories of your mother, Rey. [Reaches into the chest and pulls out an old photo of him and Rey's mother, smiling and happy] This was taken on our first date. She looked so beautiful that day. [Sighs, his expression sad but fond] I miss her, Rey. I miss her so much.

[Darth Maul looks at the photo for a few more moments, lost in his memories, before putting it back in the chest and closing it. He sits back down on the couch, his expression thoughtful.]

FADE TO BLACK.

Scene 14:

[Darth Maul is sitting on the couch in the living room, lost in thought. Suddenly, he is hit with a sudden wave of memories, and he is transported back in time to his first date with Rey's mother.]

[The scene changes, and now Darth Maul is standing in front of a beautiful garden, holding a bouquet of flowers. He is dressed in a sharp suit, his hair neatly styled, and he is looking at the woman standing in front of him with love and adoration in his eyes.]

Darth Maul: [Smiles, his eyes shining with happiness] You look beautiful, my love.

Rey's mother: [Smiles back at Darth Maul, her eyes shining with love] Thank you, my love. You look handsome as well. [Takes the bouquet of flowers from Darth Maul and smells them] These are lovely. Thank you.

Darth Maul: [Takes Rey's mother's hand and leads her towards a waiting car] I'm glad you like them. And I'm glad you agreed to go on a date with me. I've been wanting to take you out for a while now.

Rey's mother: [Smiles, her eyes shining with happiness] I've been wanting to go on a date with you too, my love. I'm glad we're finally doing this.

[Darth Maul opens the car door for Rey's mother, and she gets in. He then gets in the car himself, and they drive off to their destination.]

[The scene fades to black, and Darth Maul is snapped back to the present, sitting on the couch in his living room. He is still holding the photo of him and Rey's mother in his hands, his eyes filled with emotion.]
