Xavier learnt last semester that it's always a good idea to keep a bat or hell even a broom would do. Xavier with a broom in hand he edged towards the door. Cautiously Xavier swung the door open, he crept towards the origin of the noise. All Xavier found was a few knocked over paint tins.

Xavier restacked them; he couldn't understand how they could have been so easily knocked over. It took him a moment to realise someone had to be standing out here. Someone had to be watching him through the windows. He couldn't help but think it was Wednesday. Xavier had come to realise that the girl had a pension for sticking her nose where it doesn't belong especially when there is a mystery a foot.

Xavier felt a sense of dread come over himself. If Wednesday had seen that piece; Xavier could hardly imagine what the dark-haired pigtailed girl would think. Xavier couldn't say he hadn't noticed the ex-queen bee's absence. It's not to say that he missed her, but he noticed her absence. Bianca hadn't been the easiest person to get to know, but Xavier hoped that Wednesday had come to call her a friend.

Wednesday couldn't help but feel heart hurt, as she stalked towards the weathervane and sat in her old booth.  The quad was fresh, the waiter placed the plate Infront of me. It had become habit for Tyler to bring me a quad Meer moments after I sat down at the booth. Looking up to the waiters' face, I didn't recognise him. That was not surprising. Especially since I had been gone for so long. The weathervane staff had become more than just people in the background, to the raven-haired girl she considered them more than just background noise.

Wednesday had come to see them as almost friends.  Although there hadn't been anyone but Tyler who she had been particularly close to, she had been staring out the window for far too long. Wednesdays quad had gone cold to the touch and the sky had darkened.   Wednesday knew that she would be in some trouble when she did finally make her way back to school. The pigtailed girl also knew the towns folk knew her well enough to keep from calling the school to haul her back.

A young server spoke softly, "excuse me miss, were closing now. You need to leave."

With nothing but a nod Wednesday gathered her things which were spread across the table. Once all her belongings were packed neatly with in her bag. Wednesday tossed a $10 bill on the table and scooted out of her booth.  The raven-haired girl knew she had better than to out stay her welcome, especially with her reputation.

The grim girl knew she was odd; she didn't express her emotionally, but she thought she had been doing better recently. She felt more connected to people like, begrudgingly Tyler. The way she interacted with Xavier, felt different to her. she just couldn't pin down what she felt, it felt foreign to her. she felt differently about both the boys, but she couldn't nail down exactly what she felt, or how differently she felt for either boy. The girl was at a loss she knew she had to change. But she liked who she was, even at her disadvantage.

"ting.. ting."

Wednesday's phone chimed. The girl groaned, as grateful as she was for the gift, she hated how reachable she has become. She hates the lack of control she has over the time's people would contact her. she pulled out her phone and paused before looking at the message.

"shouldn't you be in your dorm settling in? I bet your mother must be so worried, or not.... Has she even realised that you are missing? Was she the reason you're so far from school? Or is it those pesky boys? What were their names again? Mason... no that's not it Taylor.... That doesn't sound right either. Tyler that's it. And that son of the supposed 'master' Xavier. What are you running from this time?"

The raven-haired girl looked around instinctively. Although she knew it was irrational, whoever is sending her the messages is likely not following her every second of everyday, but Wednesday couldn't help but look. the grim girl sighed; she hadn't even unpacked she just walked right out of the campus when she became overwhelmed.

Wednesday was surprised Enid here werewolf roommate hadn't sent out a search party. Enid was a very emotionally connected girl. She always gushed about something or another. Wednesday wouldn't help but wonder if her family was normal would she be like Enid? Or Xavier? So far, the only person whom she deemed as detached as her old self was Tyler. Although the girl wasn't so sure she could have blamed that on Tyler. She couldn't help but think, it was as much his choice as it was hers what they were.

Tyler hadn't seen his roommate for hours; and he hadn't seen Wednesday for even longer. He couldn't help but be curious if she was even still in the school. The way she walked Tyler worried about her. she has been very unstable... emotionally unstable. Tyler had at first waited in his room for his roommate to come home, the thought occurred to him that maybe Xavier had left to find Wednesday.

When Xavier had returned mere moments ago without the grim girl. He couldn't not make sure she is ok; he had caused so much hurt and caused so much wrong he had to make sure she at least got back to her room ok. It was almost midnight when the raven-haired girl casually, unhurriedly, strolled through the gates.

Tyler felt almost relieved. If it hadn't been for the look of absolute loss on her face. She looked like she couldn't understand or process what was in front of her. He felt for the strange girl in front of him. The Hyde demanded him to see what was wrong with the raven-haired girl. For once Tyler didn't disagree with the beast; whom had been shutting away.

Tyler stalked towards the young mystic, he didn't want to frighten her but he was careful in his approach. his mind was racing with the possibilities of what he would say to the girl. In the end he came up dry, and he wasn't as careful as he had thought.

Wednesday asked, "what are you doing up?"

Tyler knew he didn't have a good answer, he didn't even have an answer she would want to hear. If he told her that he had been waiting for her to come back he'd sound like an absolute stalker. If he said he was waiting for his roommate, then he'd look like a looney toon.  Finally, Tyler decided what was the best way to voice it.

Tyler proclaimed, "I couldn't sleep, the first night in a new place I don't sleep too well. That and knowing everything is not in its place. It keeps me up at night."
