Brand new tubes seem to dry up in no time leaving you with a swindled feeling - just when you really need to dress up those lashes !

It's late in the evening and you are astonished what to wear , as you reach for your makeup , you are met with a rather odious tiny shock ... The magic wand that holds the secret ingredient to those long , thick eyelashes is full of hardened black gunk ! Before you picture of throwing that mascara , here are some quick easy peasy fixes you can turn to...

OMG THROW OH NO !

We are well known with the fact that the self life of a mascara is not more than say 6-8 months. If the product is dried up within the expiry date and has served you well , it truly deserves one more chance .

OIL FOR EXCELLENCE

Did you know that one of the best ways to get your mascara fix, about and performing again is right within your reach ?
Add just a few drops of baby oil and roll ( stir ) the brush through the container (no pumping ) - your mascara will be almost as good as new !

WATER BATH

Another trouble free way to get your mascara up again is to let it soak comfortably in some warm water . Place the tightly closed tube of mascara in a container full of warm water . The warm water loosens the mascara gunk and restores it to a state of emergency , where it can be applied for atleast a couple of times .

FEW MORE TIPS :

1 . Your mascara mostly dries out due to the pumping action you put it through . Pumping the applicators in and out exposes the mascara to air and dries it up faster - so never do this if you want your magic wand to last long !

2 . Wetting the applicator with glycerine or water is a bad idea - instead of liquefying your dried mascara , it changes the consistency thus causing uneven application and clumpy lashes .

3 . As a sub of baby oil you can even use the contact lens solution to quickly fix up your dried mascara .

* MOST IMPORTANT NOTE : never forget to close your mascara tightly *
