The Summer Everything Changed

01. schools out!

Taylor so eagerly watched the clock hanging upon the classroom wall.

"Come on, come on, come on.." she whispers to herself repeatedly as if she has the power to make time go any faster.

The clock struck 2:57 pm.

"You do know talking to the clock isn't gonna make a difference on how fast time is moving right?" Serenity tauntingly whispered to Taylor with a smirk on her face.

The clock struck 2:58 pm.

Taylor gave Serenity a very unamused glance and went back to her impatient tactics. She was staring the clock down so hard I'm surprised it didn't break out in hives.

The clock struck 2:59 pm.

"Alright class I know that your all very eager to leave and start off you summer but before you go I would just like to say-" The sound of the school bell cut her off as well as a very happy Taylor Young.

"YES! FINALLY!" Exclaimed Taylor as she threw both of her hands up in the air.

The whole class was staring at her including a very angry Geometry teacher and a very embarrassed friend.

Serenity slid down into her seat while she shook her head with her hand covering her face saying things only an ant would be able to hear, but I'm sure it's not hard to guess some of the things she might of murmured.

As the girls left the classroom they were met by Leo and Brandon almost immediately.

"So what's the first order of business?" asked a grinning Leo.

"Well the twins won't be here until later tonight so we can catch a movie or something." answered Serenity.

"Yeah that sounds go-" Brandon started but was quickly interrupted, by Taylor of course.

"Omg I have the best idea ever!" Taylor shrieked.

The three shared a mutual glance with each other like they already knew what kind of ideas she would have come up with today. Once Brandon saw no one else was going to give into Taylor's idea, he decided to answer her. Other than Reagan, he's one of the only people who can put up with ways.

"Alright what's the
idea Taylor?" asked Brandon.

"We should plan a surprise party for the twins! Nothing too over the top of course just us, a cake, and some alcohol maybe?"

"The last time you drunk alcohol should stay the last time" Leo pitched in. Everyone laughed except an unamused Taylor that stared right into his soul.

"Ok, ok it wasn't that bad!" said Serenity trying her hardest not to laugh, "But a party for the twins does sound really nice, they haven't been in town for two years".

"Yeah I'm down just text me what I need to get" said Brandon as he tries to scurry away.

"Where are you going?" asked the group in unison. "I gotta give Jada a ride home" said Brandon as a girl in something with less fabric less than a mini skirt and shirt sashayed over to Brandon. Brandon was always a step ahead in life before the rest of the group, he was a year older after all. He put his arm around her waist,  looked back at the group, and winked. What. A. Whore.
