The Summer Everything Changed

Its been 2 weeks since the twins have gotten back in town and the friend group has been closer than ever, if that's even possible.

They've all been hanging out as a big group everyday and I mean Every. Single. Day. From roller skating to jet skiing and movie nights to house parties. Occasionally they will break off into just the girls or just the guys to hang out. Regan has also spent some one on one quality time with Leo, she didn't realize how much she missed him. They were truly the definition of platonic soulmates, his better half. Brandon crashed one of their hang out before, not that Regan did much of any complaining.
She enjoyed having one on one time with him just as much as Leo..maybe a little bit more.

Jordan has also spent some quality time with the girls, Serenity and Taylor. It went...fine, to say the least. They definitely indulge in a lot of underage drunk but hey, they're kids and just summertime, they have fun together which is all that matters!

"Y'all are talking about everything else but the time we're leaving you know!"

Everyone was on a group call planning their afternoon beach day. Well, trying to plan at-least.

"Nothing before one, I need my sleep"  replied a tired Leo. His words were so slurred you would think he was intoxicated but really he just spends too much time awake during the wrong hours of the day.

"Um, can someone pick a time please?"

Serenity hated being rushed to get ready for anything. That girl spends 2 hours getting ready just to run to the grocery store!

"It doesn't matter to me, I'll be ready whenever."

Regan is probably the least problematic of this friend group, which is probably why she meant everything to each of them.

"Whatever y'all decide just text me, I'm about to go get a cut"

"Damn J, that's gonna be your 3rd one since you been back!"

"Yeah I know, gotta look good at all times if you know what I mean!"

All the boys talked over each other in agreement and laughter, this caused the girls to roll their eyes.

"Since I will be the one driving you kids, y'all can be at my house at 2:30 we'll leave at 3"

Brandon made his statement and left the call abruptly but everyone else's mind was on the same thing:

"Kids?!" They said in unison.

"It's cute."

The girls don't share the same fashion sense, never have. But, they have learned to respect each others.

"Cute? Cute is what you say about someone's shaggy puppy or a baby not a bathing suit!"

Even though they all weren't meeting up until later that day, the girls decide to meet at Regan's house to get ready together, like old times.
