Summertime for the gang has always been magnificent I mean.. they do live in Florida after all. Never-ending beach days, water ballon fights in the winter, and eating ice cream is always appropriate. The sun may always be out all year around but the specific months designated to having some schools out fun in the sun was most favorable. That of course was before the twins left 2 years ago for Chicago after their mother died. The loss was really hard on their dad and he needed all the help he could get from his family, they haven't been back since. That was until three weeks ago that they told the their friends that they're coming back to Florida this summer.. for good! It's not like they all didn't keep in contact over the years but the thought of seeing each other in person again had each and every one of them excited! The last time they all we're together they were 13 and 14 years old.. they will now be seeing each other as young adults that all experienced a lot of puberty. How will this affect them all in the long run? Can their friendships survive these new, more mature version of themselves? I guess we will find out this summer..
