"What the fuck? ", I hear a girl screamed. I still can't believe the site I just had seen. I could hear someone walking towards the door and the next moment the door swinged open , and I immediately stand to face her. She was a brunette, thin, tall, and had multiple piercings and tattoos all over her body. She was wearing only a white T-shirt, which I supposed was her boyfriends.
"What do you think you are doing here? " she asked with her eyebrows raised and disgust clear on her face.
"I - I am your new room mate, I didn't know you were in there " I said embarrassed, but on the other hand, I couldn't see the slightest embarrassment on her face. She looked at me for a couple of seconds and said, "Wait here I'll be back in a minute" , with that she slammed the door shut.
After a few minutes the door swing open, I immediately stand straight leaving the support of the wall. It was a tall boy , with more tattoos on his body then I had seen on my to- be- roommate. The boy gave me a disgusted look but I tr to put a smile on my face , not knowing what else to do. I sure didn't need any enemies on the first day itself.
I sighed and enter the room, George entered behind me and put the baggage on the floor, besides my bed. It was quite a spacious room with two beds on each side, there were two study tables in each corners, and a bathroom to the left of the room, with a small kitchen sort of in another corner.
I inspect the room when, I notice the brunette is looking at me with her arms folded across her chest.
"Hello? I am Cora Gates ",I said a bit taken a back by here look.
"Yeah, whatever. Just know that you will have to stay out of the room when my boyfriend is here and you know... ", She trails off as if she wanted me to understand the next part by myself.
" And how often is that? And for how long?", I asked unsure .
" Girl, that depends on what we are doing. You know...?", she said with a laugh.
I stand there in utter shock, she just asked me to stay out of the room when her boyfriend is here? How can that be even possible? Argh!! I decide to keep quite and unpack my things. It was 11 o' clock when my first lecture would start and it was already 10:30. I pulled a red coloured jacket over me, picked up my books for the day and headed out. The girl was gone and I didn't quite bother. My first lecture was History so I head towards that section. The college was huge and I needed to ask a few people for direction. The hallways of the college was pretty old but I just fell in love with the college already. I was looking at the tall, intricately designed ceiling, when someone bumped into me and all my books feel down. I stumbled a few steps back, but luckily saved myself from falling on my butt on my first day.
"You?! " I asked, shocked.
" Hey babe you are following me, aren't you?" the boy asked with a smirk plastered on his face.
It was the guy from the mall, the one I bumped into yesterday. I stared at him for a good one minute when he snapped a finger in front of my face.
" I am sorry I-I was j-just seeing around" I stammer quickly bending down to pick my books.
" What's your name?" he asks, bending down to help me pick up the books.
I freeze for a moment, I have no idea why his presence was making me so uncomfortable and anxious. I just felt like running away and hiding somewhere.
He had some kind of aura around him that intimidated me.
" Spaced out again eh?" he asked again, a chuckle escaping from his lips.
" Cora Gates," I said collecting some confidence.
" Here you go," he says handing my book to me and with that he starts to walk away. I had to know his name, like he asked mine, so I should know his... right?
" Hey", wait up I said jogging a bit to catch up with him.
" Yes? " He stops and turns towards me.
" I was just wondering, uhm...what... whatsyourname?", I asked too quickly and I doubt if he even understood a word.
He looks at me with a blank expression, and the next moment he was laughing like a lunatic, as if I had just cracked the most funniest joke on the planet.
" You are funny " He said in between laughs and waving his hands all over the place.
" Bye Cora , and don't bump into somebody for the day", he smirks, turns on is heels and walks off.
