What the fuck.
What the actual fuck is going on?
A disgusted grunt falls from my lips as fucking Gaston leads my girl over to the refreshments area. The woman beside me places her hand on my shoulder and I have to fight mountains to not shove it off. "Are you alright, Angie? You look annoyed."
I close my eyes and take a deep breath. "Yes, I'm fine, Jer. I've... just got a headache" She nods her head in understanding, and as I look over her I find nothing but self-hatred.
How the fuck did i curve Elizabeth for Jericho?
A glint of gold shines in the corner of my eye, and then yet again, I am drawn to her. Drawn to Elizabeth. The second she glided down those stairs, looking as delicious as ever. I couldn't help but notice as my breath got a little bit heavier, my palms a bit sweatier and my pants just a bit tighter. She tilts her head back and lets out a luscious laugh that made me want to reach over there and kiss her senseless. But I don't. Instead I stand and watch like a coward, as that fucking atrocity of a man puts his hand on her waist.
I really fucking hope this plan works.

His eyes are stronger than any electric bond the world has ever known. Although I'm not looking at him, I can feel him. Everywhere. He's watching me.Gabriel lets out a short laugh and takes my hand. "Hey, I love this song." I raise my right eyebrow as I notice a violin edition of love story by indila playing in the background. A soft smile breaks out on my lips.
"Me too," I look around me and notice quite a few couples waltzing over to the dance floor. And during my scan of the room, I accidentally make eye contact with Angelo. I look him up and down, expecting for him to turn away, embarrassed. But no, he held my eye contact.
Stared me down as if I was some sort of prey.
I took a deep breath and turned back to my date. "Would you like to dance?" He mock groaned, revealing his perfectly shaped teeth. "Damn, you beat me to it. I was just about to ask you the same thing." I smile, take his hand and lead us to the dance floor.
"I guess we both have our answer then."
I bit the inside of my lip to prevent a full blown grin taking place. I really liked Gabriel. We hadn't known each other for long, but in the time I had spent with him he had become nothing short of a valuable companion.
He was my friend.
When we both stood comfortably on the dance floor, he placed his hand on my waist, and I wrapped mine around his shoulders lazily. We led each other to the beat of the music and for a good 30 seconds, successfully enjoyed ourselves just together.
But then, oh of course, because nothing ever goes my way, I saw Angelo to my left, dancing with Jericho.
When I concentrated on them, I stopped paying attention to dancing with Gabriel, and accidentally bumped him with my elbow. "Shit! I'm so sorry." I whisper-shouted as he rubbed his jaw with a spare hand. "It's all good, Liz," He looked at where I was looking a moment before and sighed quietly. "But that aint."
"Huh?"
He spun me around then gave me a condescending look. "I saw you guys making out that day we were at your office," My mouth dropped open. "And, I have no clue what the hell is going on between you guys; but you need to fucking fix it. Because if I can tell that there is something going on between you two, how long does it take for someone else to do the same."
