Everything since then has been perfect.
Angelo and I have spent most nights talking, kissing, fucking and just enjoying each other's presence. Even though there are so many things wrong with our predicament, I can't help but not care.
Because it feels so good.
I take in a deep breath, and push Angelo out of my head, then continue my drive to the airport whilst struggling to contain my excitement to see my sister.
Celeste Naomi Gray is my baby sister, even though she's now 19.
She flew all the way out from England the second my mom told her about how well the gala went. Celeste is a lot like me, but also very different.
We loved each other like best friends, but also bickered like enemies.
I think that's why we get along so well.
She, despite my mom not wanting her to, applied herself to all of England's top colleges and successfully made it into Cambridge University. If there was one thing about Celeste that I could proudly say about her, was that she was determined.
Even when we were kids, nothing that I said would be able to stop her from getting what she wanted. Whether it was to get on the swing first, the first shower, or picking what we had for dinner. She always got what she wanted.
A small smile rests on my lips as I pull into the terminal, almost shaking with excitement.
When I parked my car and paid for entry, I rang her phone, to find out where she was.
"Cel? Where are you?" I asked whilst looking around the arrivals area.
She cleared her throat before answering me. "Inside. Near the vending machines."
I rolled my eyes and then went further down the hall until I saw her familiar curly hair and figure.
"I can see you," I said into the phone an excited grin on my face. "Turn around."
She turned around and when she saw me, she dropped one of her suitcases and came running up to me for a hug.
I quickly put my phone away, and then captured her in my arms. A feeling I hadn't felt in such a long time.
She gave me a squeeze and then pulled back to look at me.
"Oh my gosh, you look so good!" She gushed over my clothes and hair, but I scoffed and returned the compliment to her.
My sister has always been beautiful, but ever since we were younger she had been a bit bigger in size than me. She wasn't fat or anything but she was typically more than midsized.
But now, she was slender.
Her legs had slimmed down slightly, and her face and stomach no longer had a hang but were defined and toned.
"You look amazing. I knew you said you were on a weight loss journey. But shit. These results are crazy."
She gave me a shy smile and headed towards where she left her bags.
