Chapter 10

*Sam's POV*

I walked to school and my friend Lisa was running towards me.

"Hey girlie!"

"Hey!"

"So I heard that you were dating Kian Lawley."

"Yeah I am how did you hear?"

"I didn't. I just saw you too walking and holding hands so I figured you were dating."

"Well we are."

"And girl I'm here to tell you don't."

"Uh...why not?"

"Because he's bad news."

"Well I kind of figured that out."

"I'm telling you Sam stay away from him!"

"Why?"

"Cause I heard things. He smokes, he drinks, he gets in trouble a lot, he doesn't give a fuck about anything. Seriously, how are you dating him?"

"Cause I am."

"But he's the total opposite of you."

"Well sometimes opposites attract."

"I'm trying to protect Sam."

"Well you don't need too. I love him." I walk away to my next class.

*Kian's POV*

I was walking when someone tackled me and pushed me against a tree.

"Long time no see Lawley." Oh shit, not him again.

"What do you want Jc?"

"I know it was you who vandalized my apartment last night!"

"And what makes you think it was me?"

"I saw you run out in the yard with some girl? Who is she, she your girlfriend?"

"That's none of your business."

"Well whoever the fuck she was, I'm gonna end both you and her! Have a nice life Lawley!" He lets go of my shirt and walks away.

Shit! I can't have him go after my baby! I have to do something! I have to protect her!

*Sam's POV*

Kian catches up to me while I was walking.

"Hey babe." He hugs me and kisses my cheek. I always loved it when he did that.

"Hey Kiki."

"Oh nice nickname."

"I try.", I say flipping my hair.

"Alright listen Sam." He sounds serious.

"You know how I told you about Jc?" I nod.

"Well he came back. He told me he saw us run out of his house."

"What?!" All my attention turns to him.

"Yeah. He saw us and said he was gonna end both me and you."

"Oh come on I'm sure he didn't mean that part." Kian takes my shoulders and stops me from walking.

"He was my best friend. I know him pretty well enough to know that he was serious. He threatened both me and you Sam. I need to protect you. Which is why you're running away."

"What?!"

"Yeah. I care about you Sam and I want you to be safe. So pack you bags we're gonna leave sooner or later."
