Chapter 20

*Kian's POV*

They drive me to the police station.

"Can you at least tell me why I'm being arrested?"

"SHUT UP!"

He grabs my hair and drags me to a dimly-lit room.

"Mr. Lawley you're being taken away for a while."

"Can you tell my why?"

"We've heard you've been physically assaulting your girlfriend. Is that true?" I then realize why I'm in here. Sam must have called the police on me. I deserve it. I hit her, of course I deserve it.

"Yes." He slams the table with his fists.

"WHY DID YOU HIT YOUR GIRLFRIEND?! That's not how you treat a girl. You don't hit girls."

"I know that sir-"

"Why did you do it then, huh?"

"I just...I don't know."

"You don't know why you hit your girlfriend. You just beat her up for no reason?"

"No it's not like-"

"Why did you do it then?"

"I was angry at her and I just took it out on her I guess."

"Well Lawley looks like you're gonna be in here for a while."

"How long?"

"Few months maybe years. Well, let's go find your new buddy." He grabs my hair again and drags me to my cell.

"Have fun.", the officer says and pushes me in my cell.

*Sam's POV*

"It's gonna be ok Sam.", Lisa said while I was crying on her shoulder. I was still recovering from what I had to do and from what the fuck just happened.

"I was gonna go visit my sisters. Wanna come?"

"That would be nice." I start to calm down and wipe away my tears.

"Ok. Now stop crying, get off your butt and get ready." I chuckle and follow her command. I keep the outfit I had on, brush my hair and leave it natural. I put on my converse and head downstairs.

"Let's go!", Lisa yells.

We pull up to someone's driveway, which I'm suspecting are Lisa's sisters. She knocks on the door and a tall girl with brown, wavy hair and brown eyes opens it.

"LISA!"

"LAUREN!" They engulf each other in a hug and then we walk in.

"Oh Lauren this is Sam, Sam Lauren."

"Hi.", I say.

"Hey." We walk in the living room and see 4 other girls.

"Sam these are my other sisters Christina, Katherine, Amy and Dani."

"Hi.", I say again.

"Hello.", they all say to me.

I talk to them and I think I made some new friends. The one I got along with most was Lauren was because we were both quiet, quirky and tomboyish.

*Kian's POV*

All I could about was one thing. Sam. I wanted out. Yes I hit her, but she was my everything. No one knows, but I went through some tough shit. Like how I told Sam, my parents left me a long time ago. I don't know why they left and I don't think I ever will. I woke up and found them gone. This is kind of why I became the person I am today. Sam made me forget about all that. She was my cure. She was my person to hold. I don't have that now. I gotta get out of here.

I find a piece of glass on the floor.

"Don't do it Kian.", I thought.

"Well no one's gonna care right? It's not worth it.", I think again. I pick up the glass slice it through my wrist. I cut down my car, cutting deeper each time.

How will I get out of here? Is it even worth it? Will I ever see Sam again?
