Chapter 36: Jungkook Actually Stopped Walking and Did Not Come Over

I'm waiting for somebody, Lisa returned her gaze towards Choi Yuna.

Her cold attitude did not make Choi Yuna leave. She laughed proudly as her hands caressed her stomach, I'm here for a check-up. I took a pregnancy test at home last night and it was positive. I'm here today to get a thorough check-up. Minki is working and auntie was worried something would happen to me, so she is especially accompanying me here.

Cheng Jinglin smiled uncomfortably and said to Lisa guiltily, When we met at the hotel last night, we didn't know yet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have allowed her to eat spicy food.

All Lisa did was give a smile. She saw Jungkook took the prescription and was walking over with the plastic bag in his hand, so she immediately said, If that's the case, you better hurry up for your check-up.

Choi Yuna did not look like she was about to leave, and Jungkook was about to walk over. She immediately signaled Jungkook with her eyes to not come over. She did not know if he would understand her.

She was relieved when Jungkook actually stopped walking and did not come over. However, as he stood tall and dashing, there was an unhappy expression on his face.

His eyebrows lifted at her and it looked like his mouth was curved in a sarcastic smile. It made Lisa feel guilty.

Lisa, no matter what, you are still my younger sister in name. Do you need to make things so awkward between the both of us? If it wasnt for our family, who knows who long you would be stuck in the orphanage or what you would be doing now. You wouldnt have been able to go to university or find a good job. Why are you being so ungrateful as to treat me with such a cold attitude? Did our family bring up an ungrateful person all these years? Choi Yuna sighed and shook her head.

It was unclear if she had done it on purpose but Choi Yuna's voice did seem a little louder than usual. Even though there were not many people around, those who were there looked over. They looked at Lisa with disdain.

Cheng Jinglin gave Lisa an apologetic look and said to Choi Yuna, Yuna, now that youre pregnant, try not to get angry. It wont be good for the baby.

Lisa took a deep breath. She did not like the sound of Cheng Jinglins words. While Cheng Jinglin did not accuse her directly of anything, but her consoling words to Choi Yuna indicated that she was the one that was angering Choi Yuna.

Lisa felt like this was all a joke. She had never done anything to offend Choi Yuna. Choi Yuna was the one who knew best what her life was like in the Choi family all these years. She just had to distort the truth by suddenly announcing it loudly. What was she trying to achieve?

She did not give any trouble nor offend, yet Choi Yuna came up to her and got angry on her own. Lisa had said nothing from the start and Cheng Jinglin was blaming her?

I treat you as a sister and really hope that you would give your blessings to me and Minki, as well as to the baby in my stomach. Please dont hate us, if you have time, go home to visit mum and dad. No matter what, your current surname is still Choi, Choi Yuna sounded like she was trying her best to convince her.

Lisa could only give a stiff smile and gave an answer that went against her will, Yes, I will.

Lisa, dont blame Yuna for being so direct. This is because she treats you like family and hopes that everyone

Lisa really did not know what to say, Auntie, actually Ive always been looking forward. The ones always looking at the past seems to be all of you. Ive already let go of any past feelings Ive had, but no matter what I say, none of you would believe me.
