Chapter 126: The Moment She Walked Out the Office Building, Lisa Was Blocked
A-Young held her hands and consoled, Dont be angry. What happened already happened, just consider it lucky that it didnt affect much. I wouldnt have mentioned it if we didnt meet today. Just let it go. Oh right, you visited the Mansion today, the two elders must be very happy, right?
Somi replied with annoyance, Dont talk about it. It was supposed to be a happy day but my grandparents insisted for my brother to bring Lisa over. They even made me address her as sister-in-law. I didnt want to, but it wouldnt be nice of me to object, so I had to. Sister Lu, dont blame me. Youre the only sister-in-law I recognize.
Do I look like someone petty? How could I allow you to create friction with your family on my behalf? Its enough that I know youre thinking about me. A-Young gave an understanding smile as she held Somis hands.
Somi held her hands back tightly. Sister Lu, youre the best. I didnt think much of Lisa tonight. Shes full of pretense. My brother actually scolded me for her sake. All I did was say a few harmless words and I wasnt even doing it on purpose. She pretended to be such a good person in front of my brother and my grandparents. Even that little boy, Sunghoon was tricked by her. I think Lisa instigated him to go against me, Sunghoon was so rude to me tonight. Sister Lu, it would be awesome if you were my sister-in-law, much better than that hypocrite, Lisa.
A-Youngs expression changed slightly as she quickly waved her hand and said, Somi, dont let Master Jeon hear you say those words. He may think that Im trying to instigate something. He already doesnt like me because of Lisa.
What do you mean by instigate? You didnt say anything, its all just my own opinions! Its such a joke that they cant see as clearly as I did, especially since theyre much older and have seen so much of life and people. That Lisa wouldnt be able to catch up to you even if she was driving a Lamborghini, Somi rolled her eyes. She really thought that she had everything figured out.
A-Young seemed to have been cheered up by her words. She patted her on the hand. Youre still the same, always funny with your words.
Somi smiled sweetly and said, Sister Lu, dont worry. She can only pretend for so long. She cant be putting up an act all her life, right? She will reveal herself sooner or later. My brother and grandparents will soon see through her. Ive also given it a thought. Ill find an opportunity to introduce you to my grandparents. They will love you when they meet you. Youre so much better than Lisa. My grandparents are always hiding at home and no one dares to bring their daughters to visit them, so they dont know much.
But if I introduce you to them, they will compare you with Lisa. The two elders will like you more and realize Lisa is nothing, the more Somi said, the more she thought she made sense.
A-Young looked hesitant, she let go of the straw in her mouth, I dont think thats appropriate. To tell the truth, Ive let it go. After all, with Master Jeon
Stop being such a stranger in front of me! Its weird and not right to hear that, Somi interrupted her and put on a fierce expression.
A-Young smiled gently. Okay, I wont be unreasonable with you. But if I get splashed with acid for calling out his name in front of Lisa, Ill be blaming you.
She wont dare! Somi said haughtily.
A-Young took another sip of her cocktail. I just think thatJungkook has already made his choice. Its a one-sided affair that I have feelings for him. He is now with Lisa, why should I create more trouble? If word got out, wouldnt I become the third party? Besides Its not nice to be doing something like this.
