Vikram's focus was fully on the SUV in front of his jeep, carrying Nawaz. It had taken them couple of days to track down Nawaz. But he managed to escape with his cronies in a SUV. Now they were chasing it, speeding in the empty road when the terrorists opened fire on Vikram's car. As their car swerved to avoid getting hit, Vikram leaned out of the window and shot continuously at the SUV. He managed to shoot the tire of the SUV, bringing it to a halt. As Nawaz and his cronies ran into the jungle, Vikram, Dhruv and their team gave chase. The trees were so thick that it was difficult to deduct them. Vikram managed to catch up with Nawaz. He tripped him and put his knees on Nawaz's back to keep him pinned down. Out of the blue, a bulky man attacked him with a log, making him fall back.

The bulky man was trying to choke Vikram with the log when Nawaz ran screaming "Faiyaz, escape. That guy is very dangerous."
Vikram who was gasping for breath, kicked Faiyaz in the knees, making him fall down. He kicked Faiyaz in the face and twisted his hand behind, making him scream. Faiyaz pushed him onto a tree, onto a jagged end of the tree, which pierced Vikram's abdomen. Despite the blood gushing out, Vikram tried to catch him, however Faiyaz escaped into the depths of the forest. Meanwhile Dhruv managed to tackle Nawaz and held his neck in a tight hold. Finally, as the operation winded up with the capture of Nawaz and his team, Vikram sat in the back of an ambulance while they treated the wound on his abdomen.
Colonel Abhay walked up to him "Good job, Vikram. You managed to capture this guy finally."
"Thanks Sir. It was a team effort. Dhruv and our troops captured these guys, and the IT team gave us a good lead on where to find them."
Abhay said appreciatively "Yes, your friend, Saanvi is truly talented. Pity that she will be leaving us in couple of months once her contract is over." leaving Vikram thoughtful.
Dhruv noticing Vikram's solemn face, put a hand on his shoulder and said "Dude, you need to tell her."
"Tell her what? What do you tell a girl who is getting married to someone else."
"Then why did you go through so much trouble trying to impress her by taking care of her, arranging for sapling plantations?"
Vikram replied indignantly "That was not to impress her. I just wanted her to be happy."
"But Why?" quizzed Dhruv
"Because I lov..." Vikram stopped his hasty reply, with a resigned look.
"Exactly. Everyone around knows. So just tell her, Goddamit."
"Love doesn't need to be told by words. It is understood by the actions. Moreover, it's not that simple. If I reveal my feelings now and she rejects, then we will lose the friendship we have now.'
"Vikram, if you don't, then you will regret for the rest of your life. Anyways if she marries someone else, you will probably never see her again. What's the point of the friendship then? So please, for God's sake, propose to her before it is too late."
