Sans smiled as he waited patiently for his order. He knew the season well, he knew they would be appreciated. Nymphaea Thermarum. Super small, super rare. They cost a fortune, but to see her smile, it was worth it. "BROTHER?" Sans looked over to Pap. "hey. whatcha doing here?" Sans asked. "DOING MY ROUNDS OF COURSE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
"Comic Sans Gaster?" Sans turned to the counter. "Your Nymphaea Thermarum. Take special care of it." Sans took the centimeter long water lily in the cup. "i will, thank you." Sans took the cup gently as he looked at the yellow flower, grinning. "she's gonna love this."
"THE LADY YOU ARE TRYING TO MARRY?" Well, it wasn't really like that, but. "i guess, yeah. zilla loves water lilies, so i decided to get her the rarest of them all." Sans held up said flower. Papyrus beamed happily at Sans. "I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU TRYING THINGS AND TRYING TO MAKE OTHERS HAPPY! I KNOW THAT SHE WILL CHOOSE YOU, SANS!" Papyrus said with all the confidence in the world. Sans doubted it, but he was gonna keep her happy, definitely. "yeah. i should probably head back though. it was great to see you, pap." Papyrus hugged Sans. "YOU AS WELL, BROTHER!"

Sans was careful as he shortcut to Zilla's with the small plant. "m'lord? may i place this in your daughter's room?" Sans asked as soon as he found Lord Nato. "That is a very small flower. What is it?" Nato asked curiously. "nymphaea thermarum, an extremely rare water lily. i know she loves lilies." Nato hummed. "Indeed. I do believe she will enjoy this. Permission granted, just make she's decent unless she wishes otherwise."
"uh, i'd rather wait still, not that i wouldn't wanna, but uh... i'm just gonna shut up now-" Sans popped out of the room and to Zilla's. He knocked and waited. When nobody answered, he knocked again. She was probably with one of the other bachelor's. He reluctantly opened the door and let it swing open before peeking in. She wasn't inside. He would make this quick then. He found the closest window and placed the plant near it and a letter. He left just as quickly, closing the door behind him. Great. The unnerving part was over and Sans was safe from trouble. Now to find his dad and get some training in...

Zilla counted 47 bachelor's remaining. All the others had either broken the rules or she deemed unworthy of her hand. She was oddly relieved that Sans was still here, even if she wasn't going to choose him. She was happy to have the familiar face if things got stressful. After dinner with her parents and the bachelor's, she returned to her room to see the tiny little lily in the glass. Not just any lily though... She tore open the letter. The handwriting was far from neat, but it was legible.

"saw this sweet little thing and thought of you. a rare beauty among thousands. i hope you find the right guy for you soon."

you're little bestie, sans.

Her soul skipped a beat and fluttered in her ribcage. How sweet of him! This Nymphaea Thermarum had to have cost a fortune though, where did he get that sort of mon- oh right. Dr. Gaster was his father. Sans was filthy rich so long as his father gave him access to his account. Zilla laughed a bit as put the lily in a spot for better care of it so it would survive longer.
