Sans finally broke out that box. While he would rather wear anything but, this occasion was for him, so he might as well look his best for once. Black dress pants, dark blue long sleeve, with a black vest and white tie to make the uniform pop. There was even a pair of fancy black dress shoes. It wasn't his style as all, but it wasn't as uncomfortable as a full suit. Sans could deal with this for a few measly hours. He readjusted his tie and looked himself in a full body mirror. He didn't look like himself. He wasn't a Batchelor. Sans sighed and tucked his hands in his pants pockets. It was only for a few hours, he could deal. He left his room to get this party done faster. He wasn't a partier, he hated crowded places and drunk snobs. But to see Zilla in that sparkling white dress was worth it. Sans smile widened as the bachelor's seemed to ignore him, apparently unaware that he could dress nice if the occasion truly called for it. He made his way to his old friend since she looked a little uncomfortable with her company.

Sans tapped her shoulder. Zilla almost didn't recognize him in the attire he was in. "I thought suits weren't your thing?" She commented. "it's really not, but i figured i could make an exception just this once." She turned to fully face him, he where he could see lilies patterned on the upper part of the dress. He felt his cheekbones heat up. "wanna grab a snack or drink?" Zilla giggled. "I was hoping for a dance, actually." Sans blinked. A dance? He supposed... he could have a platonic dance with his friend. "well then, m'lady..." He offered his hand to her. "may i have this dance?" Zilla took his hand with a smile. "If you wouldn't mind, kind sir~" She teased. He rolled his eyelights as he led her to the open floor. He took up proper placement for a waltz and they began. "I didn't know you could waltz, Sans..." She whispered in mild surprise. "i can do a lot of things." Sans replied with high amusement. "I never got to thank you... for saving me." Sans shook his head. "i would do it a thousand times over, zilla." She looked down at Sans. "Still... I should reward you..."

Sans soul was singing. Karla's soul was in turmoil. One small kiss provoked two very different emotions. It provided Sans a simple truth, no matter how much he denied it, it was true. He was still here for more than just to see her married to someone else. He wanted to marry her. He wanted her by his side for the years to come. He was fighting for her. Karla growled. She wasn't going to let this happen. Zilla would not be with him. If her daughter wasn't going to listen to reason and her pawns were going to betray her, it was time to put matters into her own hands. She knew Sans didn't trust her, but he did trust Noto and Noto trusted her. She slipped the remaining determination into a cup of red wine, handing it off to her husband. "Could you give that to 115 for me? We haven't exactly been on the best terms so I don't think he would take it from me.." The Lord sighed. It was about time she stop acting like a fool. "Of course, M'lady. I'll give it to him when he's done out there." She smiled at her husband. "Thank you Noto dear, this wine is simply to die for!"
